Let me just say that this series was my first ever time travel series and I really really enjoyed it. I’ve seen enough movies to know how time travel works but this was not like any movies I’ve ever really seen. It was so much more. There was so much going on and every time I was on the edge of my seat to see how things were going to turn out.
The series is about a boy and his younger sister, Trent and Lorelai, who lost their

parents in a tragic accident at a very young age. Something happened to

Unfortunately I didn't have the luck to read the 2 previous book in the series.but I did some "homework" to understand what I am reading about. The story is written from both points of view of the main characters Trent and Cassie. While we got rid from the evil Dr. fox we acquired new villeins.

The language in the book is very typical today "teens", so for YA it is ideal. There is another thing that make the book suitable for YA, is

I wish to thank the author for allowing me to beta read this book for her. It has to be hard handing your hard work over to someone and not knowing what to expect. Janine…you rocked it!

This is the third and final book in The Vortex Trilogy and let me tell you, it’s the best and that’s saying a lot because I’ve loved this trilogy from the first book. The series has seen some changes, a big one being the covers, which are amazing. There has been more PR on them, which is great because these books

If you've read the book, you'll know why I gave 4 stars.

It's finally the conclusion to the Vortex Series.

In this final installment, "Deuce". Trent went back in time once again to change Cassie's life to live a third parallel life but little did both knew that Cassie's life would experienced dramatic changes. And that new dangers arises and this time it may end up with Trent losing someone.

I really enjoyed reading this series and it makes me sad to think it has ended.

I received a copy of Deuce, book 3 in The Vortex Series, in exchange for my review.

Having returned from changing Cassie's life a third time, and finding out that she still remembers him, Trent is over the moon, but then Cassie disappears, making it clear that she is just like him; a time traveler. But her first mission comes at a really inopportune time, and causes her parents to turn against Trent more than they already were, and the

I was stunned and enamored all at once by the end of Double Fault and eager to start Deuce!

Deuce is a really complex addition to the trilogy and just as great if not better than the other books! Cassie goes MIA and scares everyone including me! Oh and then whole world flips upside down after Jeff freaks at a game!

This book was so good, such a action packed ending to a great trilogy. Janine Caldwell brought me into Cassie an Trent's world and made my imagination go wild. The descriptiveness of h

Over the last week, I've read the entire trilogy, so this will actually be a review over the trilogy as a whole.

I really enjoyed it. I have really gotten into the whole time travel/sci-fi YA scene lately, and I especially love time travel books that have their own take on the phenomenon. The Vortex series turned it into almost a paranormal ability given to Trent (Jeremy) by nature. I really loved this take on it!

The only thing that was a little annoying was the whole "Twilight" feel to the basi

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side.

Firstly I would like to thank the author and the tour organizers for giving me this opportunity of reading and reviewing this book.

Okay, so my first reaction towards this series was "What??? Can a book be that awesome???"!!! Yeah, that was my reaction and when I read this installment well, I just got knocked over by this story. It's thrilling, adventurous and most importantly it has action and lots of dra

Wow! Janine Caldwell has done it...again! I am absolutely in love with her characters, Cassie and Trent! What a whirlwind of suspense, mystery, romance...and, of course, time travel, this third installment continued to take me on. And all the feels that go with it...this is story that kept me immersed in their struggles to keep their love and lives together...even amidst the dangers and obstacles laid out before them.

This is the third book in the Vortex series, and it is also my favorite!

The entire series is very cute and fun, but this book had a little more drama added in with the adorable.

Cassie and Trent go through a lot in this book. They suffer some major losses and have to figure out how to deal with the fact that Cassie is now a time traveler to

Deuce is the final installment of the Vortex trilogy. In this book, Cassie finally gets the life she was hoping for and has had a chance to learn from the mistakes of her first two lives. Of course, it doesn't all go smoothly and Cassie finds a new curve ball thrown at her that she never expected.

I was thrilled when I came across another book, or series in this case, that has to do with time travel. I read another book earlier this year that involved the concept, and it has been one of my favorite books so far this year. Honestly, that was enough to make me want to read this series. When I received the email about the blog tour, I could not help but to be excited about it. I had not read any of the series yet, so I received all three as ebooks so I could get caught up and then read the f ...more

I really enjoyed this book and though I didn't find to be as engaging and thrilling as the first book it was still an enjoyable story and a good addition to the series. There's a dual POV between Cassie and Trent throughout this book which gives a great insight into both characters and of course plays a vital part in the story.

The story starts off exactly where the previous o

Wow, I am just shocked, and have some mixed feelings on how this book ended (especially as I am thinking this is the final book, but I hope not).

I love this series probably too much, so when this one shocking thing happens, I am very unhappy about it, and sad. I can’t say what as it would be a major spoiler so will leave it at that.

This book is non-stop intense excitement for me. The story really takes off, it has so many shocks for me. I can’t stress enough how awesome this series is as a whole

Just when Trent and Cassie think they'll finally get the happy ending they deserve, Cassie finds herself jumping through time. Somehow she has obtained the ability to time travel after being present at the Sedona vortex at the time of Dr. Fox's death. She figures out she must complete her mission in order to get back, but this is easier said than done. In addition, while Trent and Lorelai can cover up his travels, Cassie has to deal with a complication they've never had - parental interference. ...more
