Julie manages her life the best way she knows how, by waking up everyday and putting one foot in front of the other, along with a little help from modern medicine. Most days she holds things together pretty well; as the mother of twin toddlers and a wife to a husband she can barely stand she still manages to keep up appearances and paste a smile onto her face. Until dreams ...more

I had the pleasure of reading this book as a beta-read and I truly apologize for the delay in my review. I read the two previous books in the series as an R2R and that is how I was fortunate enough to meet K. A. Young. This is the next book in her Nephilim series and also the best book she has written so far. It has been a pleasure to watch her style and storytelling evolve through each story and I know what comes in the future is going to be even more exciting!

More of the same from the first two books. This novel follows Julie, Anna's sister but all characters show up again. Julie, is a clone of Anna, except she is a half vampire instead of a nephilim. Just like Anna, she has to 'transition' and just like Anna, she is the missing queen of her race.

Pros: Continues the story.

Cons: Again, full of plot holes. *Spoiler alert for what's coming!* If it was so easy to take care of the vampire king threat, just by Torch's grandmother saying a spell, why didn'

This is the 3rd book in the Nephilim Warriors series and I have to say this is my favorite one so far.

The story was very good -- tying in story lines from the earlier books and is a good stand-alone book in itself. I liked that characters from past books appear in this one and you are introduced to new ones who I only hope we get to learn more about in the future. I finished this book in one reading.

While the first two books were about Anna, this book focused on her sister Julie. I was so worri

This was an easy read and I wanted to know what was going to happen so I finished the book quite quickly! I was very confused at first because I was expecting the book to be about Anna and Eli but as the story unfolded I was happy to find out that we were seeing sooooooo much more of Torch! I must say that I missed Elise in this book but have a feeling that we will be seeing more of her in the books to come, as this series is obviously not finished. My only negative in the whole book was how Dra ...more

This is the 3rd book in the Nephilim Warrior Series. In the first two books the focus is on Anna. In this book the author took a different direction and we get to follow Julie. The main characters still have a presence and they are well incorporated into the book. I found it difficult to put the book down. My only complaint is that it was to short. I didn't want the story to end. Thank you to the author for giving me this book in exchange for an honest review. I hope the 4th book is already in t ...more

Eeek! These books keep getting better! I'm so glad that I stuck with the author and kept reading!

There were twists that I absolutely did NOT see coming and I loved hearing more about how Julie fit into the importance of Anna's path...I don't want to give anything away because it's just so good, so that is all I will say!

“I focused on her stunning, emerald green eyes; they seemed brighter, the color more vivid. I surveyed my living room that had filled with the most fear-provoking group of people I had ever encountered. Particularly one of the men that had arrived with Anna that I seen standing outside, he now stood against the wall with his bulging arms crossed over his chest; flaming” skull tattoos on his biceps. He stood staring straight at me. I couldn’t see his eyes anymore because he had the

This is the third book in The Nephilim Warriors Series and the books just keep getting better. I truly love this series and the characters. I keep thinking that sooner or later the author will add to much detail to something important losing you in the description or not enough detail causing the reader to go what the... O.M.G. I am in love with this series, I have read the last two books and I love it but this one just made it a little harder to choose witch one I love more.

I love the characters and how this story tell you more of the supernatural. it will show u a little more about the werewolf's and it would tell you a lot more about the vampire race and where they come from. and I love it how there is some twist and a part where it took me

Hmmm, once again I feel a bit let down. I know, I see tons of folks giving it 5 stars so it's obviously a ME issue with the series.

I really liked having Julie tell the story. She has to deal with an incredible amount of secrets, lies, betrayals and then finds out who/what she really is. Her life going from the ridiculous to the surreal and how she managed to find her way was a lot of fun, hence the 3 stars.

Torch let me down though. I was really enjoying seeing this new side of him, thinking he'd
This is the 3rd book in the series and centres around the love triangle of Anna’s sister Julie, Torch and Drakos….. love triangles seem to be a favourite theme of the author! Like Anna, Julie discovers that she is not completely human and like Anna, she is thrown into a world that is completely unknown to her. After fleeing from her husband Bill, Julie takes the twins and seeks shelter at Anna’s house in the human world. Dan makes an appearance in this book as do Anna, Eli, Elise and some of the ...more

General: I have to admit I was afraid to read it, I don’t like that it switched characters. I love multi character series but after spending 1 and 2 with the same set I was unprepared for the shift. That out of the way it didn’t hurt the series at all! It took me a little bit to get into the story due to it but it was a fantastic read onc

Wow this series just keeps getting juicier!

This time around we follow Julie’s story. Julie is Anna’s sister, but most believed she was just her human sister. But Julie’s body have been changing, her dreams have become really crazy, of blood and a stranger. When Anna knocks on Julie’s door to inform her of her real destiny Julie is shocked, but relieved. For years she was forced into a loveless marriage, and aching for the man in her dreams.

But when her eyes lands on the nephilim warrior Torch, s

There are things about this book that I absolutely loved and there are things that I just didn't. The story line in this series and in this book is awesome and totally original so it is definitely worth a read. One thing I didn't like about this book is the complete 180 we observe regarding the situation and circumstances of Julie. She was the perfect wife and mother with a loving husband until you discover that her husband has been mentally a

The story continues but this time around we follow the story of Anna’s sister Julie. For years Julie have been having some crazy dreams, all in them she shares a weird kiss with a strange man. Now as part of the peace agreement between vampires and Nephilim, that man wants to claim her as his queen.

But the vampire King Drake never counted that her true mate would be present the night she finds out about her destiny. Julie discovers that all is not well about her dreams and soon the truth is rev
book 3 in the Nephilim Warrior series, and this one is WAY better than the other two! the first two books are written from Anna's point of view, this one is told from Julie's.

this tells of Julie, Anna's sister, and of Torch. We met Torch in the previous books, a strong silent type, who had a reaction to a vampire and nearly humped Anna!

Julie is part vampire, as are her children, and the vampire king Drakos, says Julie and her children belong to him. Julie thinks otherwise. Drakos has messed with

If you want a description of the book, this isn't it, it is thoughts on how I feel and think of the book.

First off I want to thank K.A. Young for giving me this book as well as the previous books in this series. I have enjoyed each and everyone of them.

I have noticed a huge difference in Young's writing, she is growing and learning and getting much better. This book flowed so nicely I actually couldn't put it down and practically finished it in one evening.

I loved hearing about Torch and Julie's
This book is an extension of the supernatural world explored in the previous Nephilim Warrior books; except vampires are now the focus. Julie is the sister of Anna (the queen of the Nephilim) featured in the other stories in this series. Blood Kiss opens with Julie trying to cope with life as a suburban mom with anxiety issues and an unhappy marriage. She is also missing the close relationship with the widowed sister who has disappeared from her life after the death of her husband. She is totall ...more

I Liked this series so much I read it in less than 4 days!!!

If you are looking for a Paranormal Romance series that is pretty damn good and makes you want to stay awake until the end of the series. Well, this is the series for you! I know it was for me! There are twisty plots and some drama in this series but it flows well. Somethings you will not even expect. I recommend reading the whole series not just one of the books and that is why I am doing this review for the series as a whole instead o

Blood Kiss is book #3 in the Nephilim Warrior series by author K.A. Young. In Blood Kiss we get to know Anna's sister Julie and discover that whilst she is not a Nephilim Warrior like her sister Anna, she is definitely not human. I loved this book just as much as the first two in the series. It was filled with adventure, intrigue and some sexy romance. Another excellent book by K.A. Young that I could not put down from the moment I started reading.

I want to thank K.A. Young for letting me read and review her 3rd book of this series. I loved how it was about Julie with the characters from the other books in it as well. I loved it! Its hard to give a review without giving away the book. If you loved the first two books you will want to read this one for sure. I can't wait to read more from K.A. Young. :)

I enjoyed the book very much especially the transition Julie went through and how well thought the plot was, I was definitely surprised. although I did miss Anna and Eli. I felt more passion in their relationship. can't wait for the new book in October for the nephilim warrior series and the new series the coven ( more Elise?! yes please)

I am super shocked that Julie's book turned out to be my favorite. She irked my nerves in book 1 so hard, I kind of toyed with the idea of her dying next.

This book kept me reading well into the night. I was blown away. I was shocked that she was not the poor human sister of the female warrior, Anna. I'm kinda wishing for more Julie books. I know what a 180 from how I felt about her originally.

All is not as it seems in Julie's life. Secrets that she has withheld from her sister Anna regarding her marriage come back in an awesome way. Her desires are realized through Torch as she opens a floodgate for Torch to come into his own. Following the individual journey's as they unite to bring a great many together was so fulfilling. Awesome read!
