When Katie Reid moved to California and met Jake McAllister, sparks flew. The chemistry between them was more intense than anything either of them had ever known.
Now it's twelve years later, and thirty year old Kate's predictable life is about to be torn apart by a tall, tattooed blast from the past.
This was an okay book. I really dislike it when characters won't communicate with one another and it completely changes their lives. Not talking or explaining anything for 12 years is just too much. That is selfishness right there, ladies and gentleman. I would hope that if Katie was in a happy relationship instead of a dull, about to expire one, she would have ignored Jake, but honestly, I think she would have dropped anyone to be with Jake again, even if it was 12 years later.
This was an interesting duology but it won't be something that I re-read again.
