're-edit, take out the smutty scene in beginning that was totally unbelievable, and have some love-based defiance instead of doormat and I might believe it. can't write your girl hardcore, and then have her puss out when it counts. also, no Irish resistance woman would have made it out of prison virtue intact. that was a fine piece of make believe there. and would have been better if she had been rape survivor. would have fit the hardcore character better. I love me a beauty and the beast story, and this could . have been awesome, but got distracted and tried to be romance novel. and public service announcement to women everywhere- dude tries to choke you- you leave him. the end.
