Start your review of Social Movements, Mobilization, and Contestation in the Middle East and North Africa
As with most academic compilations, some essays were better than others. Anne Marie Baylouny's chapter on the women of Hizbullah was particularly good. I appreciated, also, the sensitivity shown to the individual stories and experiences of the men and women of the rebellions. So often, we only hear the "official" points of view.
