Two years ago, Mia had everything she thought she wanted. She loved her job, and her best friend Nicole was finally recovering from losing her family in a car accident. When they met rock star Zack Walters and given backstage pages for his concert in their hometown of Minneapolis, Mia had no idea she would get involved with the band’s drummer, Chase Harper. It was simple, ...more

This book is a good quick read. If you haven't read Just One Song, you should probably do that before you read this book. You will get more background on Mia and Chase's relationship.

Mia is afraid to commit to a guy. She says people always leave and she doesn't want to form a connect where she will get her heart broken. So she starts up a friends with benefits with Chase. She met chase when her best friend started dating the lead singer in Chase's band. She was all good with the

So ... the beginning is kinda slow and granted I read/skimmed parts - but I kept on because Stacey Lynn is so hit or miss for me - and generally it's ALL SEX ALL THE TIME at the beginning of her books, then the working out of the relationship and once things get serious with the emotions or descriptions of emotions there's actually very little sex/the books aren't explicit...

But anyway. Things were fine - normal problems and all and sadness and characters being stupid but real ... and even this

I had previously read Just One Song, the authors first book, and absolutely fell in love with the characters. Mia and Chase were such an important part of Nic and Zack’s (the main characters in Just One Song) relationship, that I knew I wanted to know more about them.

Just One Week starts a couple years after Just One Song ends. Mia and Chase haven’t talked to each other in months. Nic and Zack are about to get married. You see were this is going, right? I did say Mia and Chase played an

This book was just as great as the first book. I loved hearing about chase and Mia in book one and more about all the characters too in this book. Mia and chase have been through a though relationship if that what you call it but Mia is scared and is keeping some secrets from chase and her friend nic but when all is out there things start to look up for her. xx

An enjoyable read, just as good as the first book, sadly with the same amount of typing errors, which does spoil it a little.

Just One Week is book 2 in the Just One Song series and while each book could be read as a standalone the secondary characters story from book one continues in here. I loved this book, but really want to go back and read the first book on Nicole. I think it would give us a closer background and beginning to Mia/Chase as well.
Mia and Chase have a no strings attached rule and it seems to work over the years, but Chase is going to put his name to use (haha) and show Mia he's there for her and to

So so good, I loved Just one Song where we first met Mia, she is best friends with Nicole who is getting married. Mia and Chase plan to just spend one week together. He just has to convince her he is worth it, but she is set on not getting attached to anyone. So many secrets AMAZING story LOVE IT.

I like this book and can see why Mia is scared to let Chase get close to her. I also don't believe she should have pushed anyone away and not told them what she was going through. It's better to have people there to help you.

I loved Chase and Mia in Just One Song as they helped their friends Nic and Zack get together and stay together. We knew they were beginning something too, but did not have not too many of the details.

This book starts a couple of years later, Mia and Chase are no longer speaking. Six months before, he wanted more, she would not commit. End of story? Of course not.

I f***ing hate the friends with benefits zone and I hate that the first time I even want to try a relationship with a women
Awww. I.Loved.This.So.Much. Heart-felt. Emotional. Captivating. A Real Page-Turner. Another brilliant work from my new fave author Stacey Lynn.

Now, this is what I've been looking for. A story that makes me feel everything. Just when I thought I already knew Chase & Mia from the first book Just One Song, well, I thought wrong. I never thought that beyond those flirty, sassy and carefree personality, lies a scared woman who's afraid of commitment and romantic relationships. All Mia wants is

We first met Mia and Chase in Just One Song which I loved. Chase and Mia were the best friends of the main characters in Just One Song. they were their to help their friends stay together and at the same time enjoyed each others company as well. It is now two years later and Chase and Mia are not speaking to each other.

Mia was always there for her best friend Nicole. We saw her help Nicole through a rough time in her life and she was even there for her to help her

Stacey Lynn does it again. She certainly knows how to break your heart and then put it back together again. Just One Week is about Mia, who is Nicole's best friend from Just One Song, and Chase, who is the drummer in Zack Walter's Band. The story starts out strong with Mia planning to take time off from her job in the fashion industry in NYC to spend time with Nicole before her wedding to Zack in California. Chase shows up in NYC in the middle of job chaos and a follow up phone call from her Dr ...more

While reading the first novel in this series Just One Song, I needed to take a break and resort to Kleenex, which of course was nowhere near to where I was sitting. This time me and the Kleenex were prepared, just in case. I was doubting the authors ability to bring me to the Kleenex needed point in two books in a row, but I was prepared. Good thing.

We first met Mia in Just One Song as she is Nicole’s best friend, and Chase is the drummer in the band. This story starts as people are getting

I loved Just one song, but this book just blew me away, the intense emotions i went through while reading it was amazing.

Its not often in a book that it is the guy doing the chasing and the girl saying back away, but this is just that. Chase is the huge burly muscled drummer in a rock band who has fallen head over heals so deeply in love with Mia.
Mia on the other hand has some deeply rooted family issues that make her believe that she cant have a forever with anyone her life isnt planed that way

This is the sequel to Just One Song, which turned out to be one of my FAVORITES. : ) It also, surprisingly, was not a planned book. This story, Mia & Chase's story, was written for the fans. Aside from the beauty of the story itself, I just think that fact is awesome & had to share!

So! We met Mia & Chase in Just One Song. Mia is Nicole's best friend; Chase is the drummer in Zack's band (and also one of his best friends). They had an instant attraction & began a friends w/

I really enjoyed picking up this book and reading it. It was nice to go back and see Zack and Nicole, Sammy and Jake, Garrett and Chloe, and find out what's going on with Mia and Chase. Those two have been circling around each other for a while. But it was Chase who finally understood what was going on, and tried to do something about it. He gets his opportunity when Mia comes to town to help with Nicole anc Zack's wedding. He sweeps Nicole off her feet, totally pissing her off by doing so. And ...more

I am falling head over heals for this amazing series!

Just One Week is Book #2 in the series. Although I feel like it might could be read as a stand alone, I would HIGHLY recommend that you read the previous book first. The first book introduces you to the characters and how they met. I really feel that it helps make the story even more beautiful after already feeling like you know the main characters and all the supporting characters in this book.

In this touching story you get a better insight

It was quite long for the story to begin, I felt like the first 15 chapters were useless, Mia stalls in revealing to us her secret and while it is something big, it doesn't seem that bad because we expected worst which creates a paradox because what happens is big and it would be horrible to say that it's not that bad. As Nicole remarks at some point, Mia kind of play the martyre, and at least this aspect lessens after said remark but we have to be halfway through the book to get there. After ...more

Just One Week takes us back to the lives of Mia and Chase, the best friends of the main characters in Just One Song. Mia immediately stole the story with her quick wit, compassion and never say never attitude; pairing her up with Chase was a brilliant move on Stacey's part. By the end of Just One Song, everyone wanted to know what was going to happen with these two.

I was not able to put this book down from the moment it hit my kindle. I was laughing, crying, cringing and loved every minute of

Mia made this book such a hard read for me, all her secrets and lies. Not only that but constantly pushing everyone away. I like a strong heroine, she was not. Elijah's nickname was fitting for her if you ask me, brat.

This is the second book and focuses on Nicole's best friend Mia and Zack's drummer - Chase. This was an emotional book and had the interesting plot of a huge muscled tatted drummer chasing after and trying to commit himself to a girl that only wants friends with benefits...Mia has serious family issues that stop her from being caught and thinks HEA's do not happen. After some devastating news, Mia pushes Chase away and at times I wanted to scream at her to give the poor guy something...a few ...more

This second book in the Just One Song series is Just One Week. This tale is one close to my heart and I appreciate Stacey Lynn broaching this topic. Mia is portrayed so well with her feelings towards this topic and that for me made this book brilliant.

Mia and Chase Harper met through their friends Zack and Nicole, where Zack is the lead singer to the band where Chase is the drummer. These two have a casual arrangement which suits Mia, but Chase wants more.... Mia has her reasons for not wanting

I would say that I did really like it. Like book 1 I couldn't really put it down. There were a few inconsistencies that annoyed me but the editing was WAY better than the first. I did connect with the characters and although Mia annoyed the crap out of me I could understand why she didn't want to commit to Chase a little bit. Ms. Lynn definitely knows how to write a book boyfriend! Chase was a total hunk and he totally deserves better than what Mia put him through, but he continued to wait for ...more

I loved Mia in Just One Song and was so happy she got her own book in Just One Week. I think a lot of times when there is a follow-up book like this, expectations can be too high and a lot of times it's hard to top how good the first book was but I have to say this is probably one of the best follow-up books I have ever read! Mia's story was so emotional and I absolutely adore her and Chase together. I experienced a lot of emotions while reading this book and I could relate all too well to Mia's ...more
