Eight years ago, Lennon lost his heart to Rain, and suddenly she’s back, all grown up and sexy as hell. At a sorority party, he convinces himself that outbidding every other guy for a body shot from Rain is for charity. But he knows better. The plot was interesting right from the beginning, but I had a bit of difficulty getting into it. It is well written, but the first part does not make it easy for the reader to immerse himself in the universe of the book. I would also like to mention that the book can be read as a standalone even though it is connected t ...more
Our story begins where it left off in book one. Lennon has made some decisions for himself and his sister and life as he knew it is about to change. Change happens a bit quicker tha ...more
Even though I loved Lennon's Jinx, I was very apprehensive starting this one. Not because I didn't think Myers could deliver but because I knew this would be an emotional read for me and more than likely make me very angry and very sad at times. I love Lennon and I want to see him happy but the thing is, I loved Jinx too in the first book and I became invested in their relationship and I was rooting for them the whole way through the first book.
To know that this one has someone from Le ...more
The trilogy is called Lennon's Girls. Jinx, Rain, and now Hope. There's quite an upset in this book that moves away from traditional romance. Which is good because it leaves the reader guessing. The reader still gets the HEA, but the twists continue in this second book.
Lennon's Rain introduces a few new characters, Rain and her band. Rain is the opposite of Jinx. She's strong, wants a college degree above her music, and fairly uninhibited. She als ...more
My heart was aching, aching, aching, until I couldn’t feel a thing. WHERE DID THE LOVE GO?! WHAT HAPPENED, CHRIS MYERS?!!!
The first half had me...
Apparently, Rain was the girl he proposed to when he was in 5th grade. She was his best friend, and his first love. Eight years ago, when Rain fled away after his proposal, she took his heart with her. Then now, she’s back – all grown up and sexy. One body shot – and all of those pent up sexual frustration went o ...more
~ WARNING: Possible Spoilers Ahead ~
Everything I loved about Lennon's Jinx was ripped away from me in this book, Lennon's Rain. What the fuck happened to the characters? All of the character development, the time spent getting to know them, and the progress in the storyline *poof* gone. Just like that. I feel like my time has been wasted. I felt as though I was reading about complete strangers - strangers I hated. Sadly, I had to fo ...more
Please read my review for Book 1 in this series, Lennon's Jinx here. Lennon's Rain pretty much picks up where we left off. Lennon is getting ready to graduate. Jinx and Lennon are officially dating. There is no way for me to write this without giving away some of what happened in Lennon's Jinx so please don't read any further if you haven't read that one first.
Lennon and Currie are still reeling after the death of their friend Zoe. Currie is also struggling with her mother leaving her. Le...more
Lennon’s beautiful story continues.
Lennon and Jinx are progressing in their relationship but we see trouble coming on the horizon. Jinx has trouble getting along with Currie and this upsets Lennon. He wants his “girls” to love each other. Lennon goes out with the guys one night and runs into his “one” true love from the age of 10. Rain is a beautiful soul that captivates Lennon from the day they became friends.
The love triangle weaves itself into a huge web of drama. But through it a ...more
(Lennon’s girl trilogy book 2)
By Chris Myers
*Reviewer for Paranormal Romance and Authors that Rock*
Book two in this series follows Lennon a little older, and at the end of high school. You wouldn't HAVE to read book one to enjoy this story, as there isn't anything super related to the first book in this, however It would explain Lennon more then this book does, and give you a lot more back story into his childhood, and previous family life etc.
Thing have settled down for ...more
Chris Myers added a whole new layer to Lennon as a character. He’s grown up since the last book. He’s matured– of course he is still only 18yrs old so let’s cut him a little slack. This time Lennon has some difficult choices to make that won’t only affect him. I definitely sensed a shift in his character devel ...more
I haven’t read book #1 Lennon’s Jinx and therefore didn’t know what I was walking into with Lennon’s Rain, I was assured Lennon’s Rain could be read as a standalone. Also this is the first book I’ve read from this author.
Lennon’s Rain follows Lennon, Rain & Jinx and their attempts to try and sort their relationships out. This is not your typical love triangle and I have to admit that Jinx didn’t come off very well in th ...more
Chris writes with such honest reality that has you absorbed from the very first page.
I love the whole twist up with this trilogy, most series/trilogy type book follow one couple for all 3 books, Chris Myers gives us the love life of one guy and the girls he falls in love with throughout his life.
Chris writes in such a way you desperatel ...more

Lennon and Jinx is officially a couple. But what happens when a long lost love re-enters your life after 8 years. Jinx is still struggling with her attack and can’t bring herself to sleep with Lennon. All the while, Lennon has been nothing but patient with her but his sexual frustration isn’t helping.
Lennon sees Rain and instantly grows possessive over her. He was in love with her, she was his best friend. ...more
Okay look I love Rain, I do. She is great with Currie and she knows Lennon without the extra effort. I am still friends with people I've known since Elementary School there is nothing on this planet that can measure up to that type of connection. Here is the deal, I love Jinx and I want her to be happy if that makes me you know "whatevs"...Then fine, I'll be "whatevs". I can’t help it Lennon may have met Rain in the 5th grade but I ...more
I will admit I adored Jinx, so it took me at least a third of the book to like Rain. I won't spoiler it for you, but something in me just didn't want to like her as much. I felt like Chris Meyers took a definite turn in how she wrote Jinx in this book from the last one. But some where around one third and one half of the way through the book, I finally got on b ...more
I admire the author for taking a leap into taking this book into a one of a kind love-triangle. I honestly don’t like triangles on stories and that’s one of the reasons I’m a bit hesitant into reading t ...more

Chris has done it again!! I went into this a little better prepared then the first, as I assumed I was going to be reading another YA book, but it blew me away!! Lennons Jinx was a 5star read for me, I didn't stop crying for the last 15% of the book!
Please if you haven't yet read book 1 don't read any further :)
The start of this book made me so so so angry!! I went from crying like a baby, to wanting to throw my iPad across the room! ...more
I loved this book and immediately felt like Lennon and Rain belong together and had to worry throughout what was going to happen in this love triangle. The writing was so well done that you get completely absorbed in the story. This lacks the far fetched feel that most stories like this have. It is believable and full of deep characters. This book is packed full of stories withi ...more
