Falling in love is forbidden for the Guardian of hybrids. Unfortunately Red is not perfect. All Hybrids, or humans with supernatural abilities, need Red but the emotional connection to one in particular, Violet, distracts him from his responsibilities. To make things worse, Violet is now living in Red's Sanctuary where she's fallen in love with his best friend Grey.
Amanda Miga lives in Long Island, NY with her husband, John Miga, daughter Rayna and two cats, Smudge and Cricket. When she's not writing she's watching movies or listening to music, finding inspiration for The Sanctuary series and other fictions in the works.
I loved the idea of this book however in the end it was highly disappointing. The typos were really distracting, I've seriously never seen so many before. I was also really confused through the first half of the book about the Guardian, Red and his relationship with Violet. It was more of a teenage love triangle than a book with an actual plot. I wanted to like it since I love to read genres like this but I just couldn't.
This book would've been great if it would've had an actual storyline instead of a weird love triangle and an only quarterly developed 'guardian'. Also, proof reading is a must and there were so many typos in this book that I had the urge to stop reading and throw my phone across the room. Like I said, this book could've been great if it would've been properly developed.
