Five Star Read
Exceptional storyline with wonderful character development. Parts of the story was making me nervous but happy to read everything come together. I enjoyed and recommend this five star read. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

This was my first read by this author... This book was an okay read for me... I will say that off the title and the cover this was not what I was expecting... Not in a bad way just not what I thought the storyline would be about... This book moved at a pretty quick pace... There was lots of hating, backstabbing and jealousy going on in here... oh and a big secret... I do feel like this book should have given us a quick epilogue to kind of let us know where they all ended up after all the dust settled... I also feel like it kind of mentioned towards Lex sneaking around but kind of just dropped it... So not sure about that... But overall a pretty good read...
Saint is such a good man... He has a very big heart... Him and his sister Alexis (Lex) have come a long way from what they had to go through as children... But with Saint doing all he can to protect his sister... It almost cost him his own... But thankfully he happened to make a bad decision at the right time that helped him out of this... And this one night changed their loves forever...
Lex was so lucky to have such an amazing brother that protect her at all cost and always made sure she had what she needed no matter what he had to do to get it... She was a really good sister and always had her brother's back no matter the situation... This was her way of repaying Saint for all that he has done for her... But when it came to Saints girlfriend Cortona... Saint just would not listen to Lex... But trust... Lex could not wait for Cortona to mess up...
JT was such a mess up... He used the fact that his father's name rang bells in the streets as his way to mess up time and time again... Constantly proving that he does not have what it takes to run these streets and take over... Because he was the only biological son to St. John he thought he had this in the bag and he could keep messing up and all would be good...
St. John was almost robbed years ago by a young boy that was just doing what he had to in order to survive and take care of his sister... But what he did was take this young man under his wing and raised him and his sister as his own...
Saint and Lex lived a great life with St. John and his family... They both appreciated them so much... Saint went above and beyond to prove himself and show his appreciation to St. John... But JT didn't like it... He saw all the hard work that Saint put in while he was being lazy... But still was jealous of Saint... This brought on so many unnecessary situations...
Ariella was swept up by a very conniving man that brought her to the states for his benefit... Little did she know what she was getting herself into when she decided to be grown and come to the states... Now here she was very pregnant and still having to preform sexual acts and getting beat on... She is doing all that she can to escape... But each attempt has failed... And the last one almost cost her her life... But this time with a baby on the way and wanting to protect it... She will try as hard as she can... And all it takes is one slip up from a man and she was out of there... Little did she know that this one night while out in the rain with no where to go would change her life so much... Her son was the center of attention and became the light that everyone needed...
With so much going on... Secrets are coming out, lives are being lost and feeling are being hurt... As things build up and lots of things are revealed... Lives are changing daily... But in the end some people found happiness... Some lives were shattered and many lives were lost...

When The World You Know Changes!
Talehia, good read. This was such a good read. I can say Saint is the man. He has a heart of gold and A mind of steel. He loves who he loves and will protect them with all his might. To see the difference between wanting to achieve and expecting a hand out is just the way Saint took his choices and JT took his.
Secrets that ended up being good although jealousy tried to destroy everything. I really enjoyed this read! I would like some more on Alexis though.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Life is all about choices and decisions I’m glad Arielle was able to get out the streets and escape that life she was forced into by Lyle and JT it’s sad that some people treat woman like trash cause they had a bad experience I’m glad Arielle was finally able to find her inner peace and strength and know that things happen for a reason and her life experiences will make her continue to be a good woman mom and one day wife to Saint Miller I enjoy this book I look forward to many more great reads by Talehia

Wonderful Read‼️
Talehia is was an amazing standalone...Saint was definitely the man and he lived up to his name...I knew St John had to be his pops when he first tried to rob him..Im so happy that Arielle was able be free from the hell shw went through and was able to find thay love she was missing...Jt and Lyle got exactly what they deserved with their jealous selves...Lexi was on it about ole girl being shady🤣🤣..I really enjoyed this one..Hopefully we can get a story on Alexis 😉😉..Amazing Job🙌🏾🙌🏾

This was good !!!!
Saint and Alexis had it really rough and was just trying to survive the best they knew how. Running into St. John was their blessing in disguise!! Arielle was young, naive, and sheltered. Lyle manipulated her and did her dirty smh. I’m glad that Saint found Ari and gave her and Lil Saint a great life. JT was jealous and lazy, wanted everything handed to him instead of working for it. I was sad about St. John and felt bad for Gina. The ending was cute!

This author came back swinging. Don’t seem like she took a break at all. Arielle had a bad taste with men. Lyle was a sick individual and JT was a jealous bih. Arielle’s past didn’t stop the right man for being in her future. I loved everything about Saint. He stepped in for his namesake and never looked back and that made me like him even more. I loved this read and can’t wait to read more from this author

Great Read
This is the first book I've read from Talehia and I wasn't disappointed. I love Saint. He and Lex went through hell at the hands of their mother. I'm glad he found St. John at the age of twelve even tho he was trying to take him out for the Black Spades Gang. I knew St. John was his real father. JT, St. John's other son was a lil bi#ch and got exactly what he deserved. I hate that St. John didn't make it doing a good deed.💘💘

This book was amazing. I liked how saint James saved saint and Alexis and raised them as his own. I am happy that saint found out the truth about his dad I hate that him and lex didn't get a chance to have that motherly experience with their biological mom. Thank god they all survive in the end. Which saint James could have survived the surgery and be there for them a little longer.

This was such a great stand-alone!!
Saint Miller definitely lived up to his name. Arielle a Haitian immigrate came to the States under false pretenses, duped by Lyle a pimp and abused by him and JT, Saints brother. Cortana, the woman in the middle realized her mistake to late. JT was a jealous little boy portraying a business man that let his fragile ego get the best of him. The ending surprise wasn’t really a surprise!!

Wow!!! This was good
First time reading this author and I liked it very much.
Saint and Arielle were so beautiful together and I just loved Alexis devotion, loyalty and standing ten toes down behind her brother, so nice….
Glad everyone got what they deserve and loved the sacrifice that was done. Low key I think Gina might need to get committed or at least sent away because the resentment might surface anytime…
Overall a beautiful and enjoyable read…. So glad I picked it up!!!

The story was way better than I expected. Lots of betrayal and family secrets. There wasn’t a lot of spice scene, but the ones we got were spicyyy. What I would’ve wanted as a reader is more editing because there were grammar errors, a more sensitive reader would’ve appreciated a trigger warning page, and I wouldn’t have minded another spice scene.
I would read more from this author 💖

I enjoyed reading this story. JT let greed and envy cloud his judgement. He could’ve had so much more if he worked for it. Instead he thought he was entitled; which he wasn’t.
Ari is my hero who’s also a survivor. She turned her negative situation into a positive with the help of Saint and Lexi.
Lyle had a date with karma that he couldn’t miss if he wanted to.

That was a lot going on. I am so happy that Saint is alive but sad that his father died to save his life. JT got what he deserved. He was too jealous of his brother. He caused his own death. I am so happy that Arielle is getting all the love she deserves from Saint. Great Read!

Good read
I enjoyed this book. 1st read by this author and I must say I will purchase other books. I loved how Saint loved his family but hate he didn't get to have a father and son relationship with St. John once the truth was revealed. I hate JT didn't know Saint was his real brother. I would love to have seen Saint and Ari relationship grow.

Surprises
This was the best story. Mental illness is something serious. I was hurt to see that such a young person had to yo to the extreme to protect his sibling. But, he was saved and his whole world changed.
Jealousy get you killed, but I was happy when Saint survived and got the family he wanted.

Great standalone
Definitely a good read. This was my first book by this author and she delivered. I hate it was a standalone I needed more. Saint was a stand up guy and Jt was the total opposite. St. John was a good man to raise kids that he rescued. Arielle found love in America after all.

This was a good incomplete story. Glad he finally knows he actually did belong. Help Lexi find herself. Arielle never reunites with her parents or let them know she's okay?? Who's going to be at the wedding and how is her halfway house going to turn out! Just feels incomplete 😭

Love love love it
I definitely recommend this book. The storyline was great, I loved how the characters kind of naturally fell for each other. The only thing that was unrealistic was how Saint claimed the baby immediately. It was written perfectly for a standalone novel but I low-key wish there was a part two.

Saint was such a saint
This story was bittersweet because greed changed JT and caused him his life. Saint never really got to bond with big JT as his father and his their mom loses both husband and son. Well Ari did get her happy ending but at what cost wasn’t really worth it but then again read and decide for yourself. J loved this story and need book 2 with Lexi

Wow JT was a real hater. You get mad because you did not make the cut. All this time he was his real father. I bet his wife knew and was mad about it. Lyle was scum of the earth and got what he deserved. He should should have done him dirty.

Saint was bae all day everyday. I'm glad JT and Lyle got what was coming to them. I knew JT and Saint were biological brothers and JT was jealous of him and wanted everything handed to him. Great read

Saint was everything & more!! I knew JT was going to end up playing himself. He got just what he deserved. I am so happy for Arielle. She endured so much pain & abuse, but still came out on top.
