Aiden has a crush on Shawn, but there are two problems in the way of the happily ever after he knows they're meant to have. The first is Shawn's new boyfriend, Noah. The second is Jordan, Shawn's best friend and Aiden's long-standing rival for his affections. So how's a man to overcome such obstacles?

Not by accidentally sleeping with his rival. And not by going on the camp

I usually avoid love triangle, but the blurb at ARe seems funny and a bit different from what I dislike. It turned out, I was half right. It was a bit different, but there's something else that I even more dislike. It's too bad, since the book was on the way to get a 5 stars from me when the problematic scene appeared.

The plot is quite interesting. Shawn and Jordan were best friends since they were kids. Shawn, however, never knew that Jordan actually had been in love with him. Meanwhile
The MC was a bit of a dickhead, tbh. People who are big enough jerks to drug someone's tea for shit and giggles aren't particularly likable. And I've never been able to understand how someone accidentally sleeps with the wrong person.

Not quite what I expected, but still interesting, it just had a few twist I'm dubious about.

Aiden is interested in Shawn, but Shawn's best friend Jordan, also is in love with Shawn. Shawn is of course totally oblivious about the private war going on between Jordan and Aiden and decides that they must like each other and tries to help them along. A trip in the wilderness is becoming Aiden's personal hell, but of course he had to go, since Shawn asked him and Jordan would be

To be honest, I've never been into gay fiction, but as someone who's just written a soon-to-be-published lesbian novel (Lindsay versus the Marauders) I thought it best to explore another side of literature and see what it was all about.

Turns out it's the ol' love triangle thing going on. I thought the characters generally well fleshed out for the most part, but the scene where Noah is slipped the proverbial Mickey Finn bothered me. It's the same as a guy slipping a girl a drug when on a date. Th

This is another new author to me and I have to say it's a really good read....I didn't fall for the main MC's as quick as I usually do but I loved how they became *allies* in order to try and get Shawn...I kind of thought they could end up together....We've all read the books where enemies turn to lovers...The only bit I wasn't keen on was Aiden drugging Noah with sleeping pills.....He was kinda stupid doing that..but guess he really thought he liked Shawn.....A really quick read...really well w ...more
Main Characters: Jordan Jackson & Aiden King
Key Themes: Jealousy, Humor, Enemies to Lovers
Location: Not Provided

Two smart 20-somethings fight over a not so smart super cute guy, who happens to be in love with someone else.

This is a fun short, "enemies to lovers"-themed romance, with an unconvincing story line, and well-defined, but somewhat tiresome smart-ass MCs.

Maybe even just 2,5 but I really liked the ending, so let's be nice. The MC is thoughtless jerk most of the book and the other MC isn't much better. I just didn't like them or the plot that much. The ending is very sweet but it's just too late to save the book.

Shayla made her debut in the writing world during elementary school with a heart-breaking story about how her grandma's chicks died from an unknown disease. It was published in the school newspaper, spurring a significant amount of pitiful looks directed her way. Being a stubborn Aquarius, she kept on striving, publishing cheesy love poetry, an endeavor that thankfully proved to be far more succes ...more
