From the very first moment that I laid eyes on the sexy and mysterious Jake Meyers, I knew that he would change me forever.

The danger I perceived did not scare me off. I wanted it , I wanted him.

The characters felt very real to me. The plot and characters was very well developed. You could just feel the chemistry coming from Jake and Abby. Very Hot!! I was hooked from the very first chapter. I just had to find out what was going to happen next.

Great writing, great Story telling

This is a decent short read about a new BDSM relationship. I really liked how things played out between Abby and Jake. Nothing over the top for two people claiming to be new to BDSM. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of Abby. When she remembers the men in her past no reason is given for why things didn't work out other than her low body image. She also hints at having fallen in love and it not being returned, but not enough is given on that point either. I never found an emotional connection to Abbey, which is what would've made this book five stars.
There were also a few errors, but not so many that it interrupted the flow of the story. Overall, this is a decent BDSM story but I wouldn't really call it a romance. There's no HEA, only the allusion to a sequel.

The book started off like it would be a great read but as I began finished reading it I found my getting frustrated with it...


Overall an ok read but it wasn't one of the better books by this author.

The only reason I have this book 3 stars was because of the sex!

I enjoyed the beginning of this book a lot. However once Abby started going between Jake and Chase I found myself having a strong dislike for her and my dislike got more and more intense as the book went on.

She would constantly say she felt guilty but she wouldn't ever just put a stop to it and when she would say she wanted to "talk" it would always end with her screwing whichever guy she was meant to talk to...

In the end I just wanted her to actually make a decision and stick with it!! I don't think I'll read the other 2 books as this one just left me feeling incredibly peeved off and frustrated.

For a short story it wad really hot. Considering the plot was about BDSM, I'm not sure what expected. Yet, it was not what I imagined either.

It was muchsofter than I anticipated. I thought it was great the author brought to the forefront that 50 Shades wad the inspiration to the characters interest in BDSM. I also found it believable that two people not knowing about the world experienced it together.

Who wouldn't want to explore the world of BDSM with a guy who sounds as hot as jake??

Part of master of hearts box set. I absolutely enjoyed the book. I'm not to sure about Jack though. He has some dark demons lurking and I can't wait to find out. Abby doesn't really seem like the nervous self-conscience "fat" girl. Her words not mine. She seems like someone who is comfortable in their skin and ready to explore possibilities and life. So there is some contradictions that are playing out but I love the idea of their story.

Abby and Jake, it is just so short that it is hard to put a rating on this book. It is interesting, I'm still reading the series so that must say something but I'm not sure it feels like a book, almost like I just read the first few chapters, and I'm wanting to read more so I will keep you posted as I read her. She has great flow, the story is a page turner.....

I keep reading her books, but dunno why... they begin really good, but further I keep reading, further they keep going downhill.

I thought: "Damn! A good bbw/bdsm book! Yes!"... and it is... at least this one.
