At least that’s how it feels to Billy March. He’s been grounded for 63% of the past month. The thing is, every time Billy almost gets his parents’ trust back, his mind wanders off, and he causes another disaster! Like the time he and his best friend K

This book is an excellent read for children ages 7 to 12. The story of Billy is one that most any young person can relate to, at least parts of the story will be familiar. What child doesn't daydream when they get bored though most do not act on them the way Billy did. The parent/child relationship relayed in the book is similar to what is experienced in many homes. The relationships with siblings is also not unusual.

The author did a wonderful job of relating the emotions felt by all characters

Solid elementary-middle school book about a boy whose imagination gets away from him and gets him into trouble. When his parents send him to a psychiatrist to help him understand how and why he acts out, he freaks, thinking they're all going to get him on "brain drugs" which he naturally confuses with illegal drugs. The psychiatrist works closely with him to come up with a plan and this leads to what he really wanted to do and become anyway.

I liked the characters, especially Billy and his friend

The story of a boy constantly getting into trouble for his big imagination and propensity for accidentally destroying things will likely be familiar to some kids. The interesting thing about this book is Billy's creative outlet -- making movies with his phone. Through the book Billy learns that he can use his imagination for good instead of evil. 5th-8th grade.
