The Cattleman and the Virgin Heiress was the first Harlequin romance I ever read back in the summer of 2009. I liked the descriptions of the rainy, muddy ranches and Merritt was extremely powerful in conjuring up the dilemma and tension between Hope and Matt. Although, predictable, I really enjoyed some of the humor in the book and all together, it had a really satisfying ending.

It was a typical romance. If that's your preferred genre, this book will not disappoint. The characters are likeable and the plot is interesting. Lots of not too graphic sex.
