his is one of those books that meets you in a very real place.

When Day by Day Is Too Long speaks to seasons where even getting through a single day can feel overwhelming. It’s honest, grounded, and offers a kind of steady encouragement without feeling forced or overly polished.

I also had the opportunity to hear Dr. Mann preach in person at Riverbend Church, which added another layer of connection to this work.

What I appreciated most is that it doesn’t try to rush you out of difficult seasons — it meets you there, and reminds you that even small steps forward matter.
