I really enjoyed this story!
It starts off with Summer, who has lost her memory, trying to escape an unknown threat. Summer and Steve begin as friends and things blossom from there. The town carries some mysteries of the past that are clear to be a problem as the story progresses.
There is a portion that moves a little slow as we get to know all the characters but it picks up at the halfway mark and really gets exciting as well as emotional.

quite a page turner cause you NEEDED to get to the end to find out what happens to evil patrol man Wilcox. Pumps your adrenaline levels this one. Not one of the best written books by this author but stuck with it.

Ruby Falls by Nicole James was quite a surprise. I couldn't put the book down.
Ruby Falls is not the sequel to her first book Outlaw. It is not a biker book. Ruby Falls is a stand alone book. It is a romance, it has romantic suspense, the unique small town flavor, and a very entertaining read.
Ruby Falls is much more than the synopsis describes. The reader gets to experience two separate romances, a woman with a lost history, a man suspected of murder, mysterious disappearances of several women, a small town with secrets, corrupt law enforcement, the daily hardships of farm life, and the beauty of new relationships. It has all the elements that readers love.
The main characters and secondary characters come to life on every page. The reader becomes very invested in their lives, personalities, and their struggles. The romance, sexual chemistry, and sex scenes are sizzling hot. The book flows beautifully and the plot keeps the reader enthralled.
Job well done! I highly recommend this book!

Okay so I'm kicking myself because I didn't read this book sooner.
I'm a huge fan of Nicole James and I thought I had read everything she had out but then BAM I see this.
I immediately downloaded it and within the fist few pages I was hooked.
I love the characters Steve, Summer, Cary, Jessie, Pop and Justin. LOVE!
Ruby Falls is full of suspense and was so perfectly written that all the twists turns and surprises were explained in a way that I never felt lost.
I'm might even go so far to say this is my favorite Nicole James novel.

At times, the story was just extremely slow. I almost gave up a few times, but I wanted to see how the story would play out. I was a bit disappointed at the climax because I expected just a little bit more. I did love the double romance though. An ok read to pass the time.

I can tell this is an earlier book of Nicole James, the writing style is not as strong as the Evil Dead MC series. And what I thought was going to be a great mystery mixed in with romance was not even close. The mystery is just the event that gets Her into the right place. Then it takes a really far back seat to the romance that starts. And there are 2 couples on this farm that have a romance storyline.
But while they are all falling in love in slow motion, the mystery to her arrival seams to fade into the background. It was all sweet, but slow and a bit "lifetime movie" for me. A very long slow movie of tension, and unanswered questions, and fist fights. Then once we cross over the 300 page threshold, we finally circle back to the mystery that started it all and bring that all to a closure.

I really enjoyed this book. The characters really grabbed you right from the start. At times, the story was so intense, you couldn't put it down until that situation was over. There really weren't any dull spots in the story, it was all really easy to read and held your attention throughout the book. I wasn't ready for it to end, I really wanted a little surprise at the end but that didn't happen but it wasn't my story to tell! I will be awaiting more books from Nicole James. She is definitely on my list of books to read when they come out.

A fantastic romantic thriller!!
Trying to figure out what was going to happen next had me on the edge of my seat with this book!
As well as a gripping storyline this book had some truly touching moments and hot as hell scenes!
This is the second book I have read by this author and I'll be diving into another one right away!
I loved each of the characters and their individual storylines within the book.

Suspense and Sweet Romance
Enjoyed Ruby Falls, Steve and Summer are good, honest hard-working people meeting under unusual circumstances. Love the suspense of Summer trying to regain her memory from a trauma, she has evidently blocked and Steve, a single parent, struggling to raise his daughter Jessie, and keep his farm afloat. The spark between Steve and Summer can’t be denied. Ms. James writes a great story. I look forward to more books from her.

The woman wakes in the woods with no knowledge if who or where she is. As she runs fear chases her to the road where she hides from the pickup truck with the search light that is being shined into the woods.

Brainless Women
The story dragged, but what became obvious was that the heroine and secondary heroine were brain dead. They allowed themselves to be abused by the villain. No one carries a cellphone? No one bothers to record a blackmail? Worse, they suffer in silence because it's good for the story? I know if I'm being chased by the villain before he can put me in his car I would be making a fuss that could be heard in three counties.

RUBY FALLS by Nicole James really surprised me. I am a big fan of her MC series, so I was expecting some really steamy sexy scenes with danger and intrigue throughout the pages. I was not disappointed in the danger and intrigue portion, and the book didn’t have as much sex scenes as her other stories, but I think that works with this story. It was definitely a good read and I would recommend it.

Excellent amazing book
This book was amazing. I felt so connected to the characters and I couldn't change the page fast enough. Steve and Summer shared something so sweet and incredible. Seeing Cary love Jessie so much made my heart sing. As far as Wilcox I was so angry I wanted to jump thru the book and strangle him. Great work Nicole... Excellent author.

Shocking love story !
This book was a wow kinda story, I couldn't put it down once I started to read it. Suspense , deception, and misunderstandings. Love, sexy steamy romance. Enjoyed this book totally, if you like the unknown then you will love this book! Recommend with a 5 Stars review

Great book
A Sheriff's deputy who's on the wrong side of the law, kidnapping and murder, a young woman running for her life with no memory of what has happened, the family who takes her in and helps her remember. One great read with a more than interesting storyline and thoroughly enjoyable characters.

Ruby Falls
An amazing story. I absolutely love this Author's writing and her storytelling is so believable. I love reading her books. The characters are beautifully written, the storylines grabs a hold of you from chapter one and does not let you go.
I love recommending this author and all of her books to my friends.

A exciting read that held my attention from start to finish

There is something strange going on in Ruby Falls. A woman bloody and with a head wound shows up on the Garret Farm. Because of the wound she has lost her memory. So the person who did this to her is still out there. There are surprises, tragedy, heartbreak all in this books. Kept me reading.

I found this book by reading Nicole James reading order. I, a big fan of MC books and let me say Nicole James did not disappoint. I felt like I was right in Ruby Falls with them. I could not put the book down. It had the mystery, suspense and HEA.

A great first
This book turns out to be one written before Nicole James wrote Outlaw. I must say that it was an amazing book, I just hope she writes another one with more of Jesse and Carey as well as more of Summer and Steve!

The hero is pretty unlikable for most of the book. Actually, the storyline is pretty unbelievable. I've read many books by this author and they're my h better than this.

Absolutely the best intense love story
This book kept me awake at night and sneaking a read every chance I got. It was intense and beautiful. It held on to me to the very end.
