Oh de melancholie ❤️ Ik houd van de teksten van Lana del Rey, de trieste sfeer ervan. Ook van de muziek zelf trouwens, helemaal sinds ik haar in 2023 live heb gezien/gehoord.
Born to Die is wat mij betreft haar mooiste album qua lyrics. Ik vind de teksten zelfs mooier dan die van haar bundel Violet bent backwards over the grass.

Acum,vorbind strict de versurile de pe album,pot spune fara niciun dubiu ca Lana Del Rey stapaneste foarte bine scrierea versurilor,si asta este cert. Born to die este un album emblematic pentru orice al Lanei,si dupa parerea mea,un album foarte bine realizat. Chiar si Paradise,in ciuda faptului ca este un EP,consider ca este minunat,si se vede clar ca este o opera de arta. Din punct de vedere liric,cea mai bogata melodie de Born to die este ,,Off To The Races" , dupa parerea mea, o melodie greu de retinut din pricina numarului de versuri. Melodiile mele preferate de pe album sigur sunt ,,Blue Jeans", ,, Carmen" si ,,Million Dollar Man" . Blue jeans este una dintre melodiile cunoscute ale Lanei,si cumva consider ca isi merita toata faima,pentru ca suna si foarte bine,iar versurile sunt triste,dar in acelasi timp foarte bine transpuse pe instrumental,incat sa para mai degraba o melodie placuta decat trista. Carmen este o piesa de suflet,pe un instrumental superb si cu niste versuri foarte interesante,fiind una dintre melodiile mele preferate din punct de vedere liric. As putea scrie pagini intregi despre Carmen,dar incerc sa fac review-ul mai pe scurt. Million Dollar Man imi place pur si simplu din cauza faptului ca imi mangaie timpanul,si este extrem de placuta.
Cat despre paradise,pot spune ca Ride,Cola,Yayo si Body electric suna impecabil, iar Ride dupa parerea mea este o melodie iconica,dar care are si niste versuri interesante. Cola este overhated dupa parerea mea, trebuie sa o asculti pana la capat pentru a trage concluzii,iar daca nu ai ascultat niciodata bridge-ul cantat divin,nu judeca primul vers!! Yayo si body electric sunt foarte bine cantate.
In concluzie,un album impecabil!
