This book is pure action-filled zombie fun and well worth the read. I love the narrative voice of this book, from the slightly sarcastic U.S. Marshall who has the bad fortune of being grounded in San Antonio in the midst of a zombie outbreak. With his witness protection escortee in tow, Grant begins his stand-off with the zombies at the Alamo. A solid story of a zombie apocalypse. It's not often I find I agree with most of the desperate actions taken to survive. There are too often stupid people doing stupid things that get other people killed. The action scenes were well written and the story had a good pace. I hope the sequel is just as good.

My only complaint would be the book could have used just one more round of editing.

The group are trapped by the zombies with no supplies but when they hear that in 90 minutes San Antonio is going to be bombed, escape becomes vital. A daring plan is hatched...

This was good zombie fun! It followed the traditional zombie plot of a

I loved this book from the start it kept you glued to it wanted to know what would happen next! I love the characters in this book as they are normal real people! the main character is an US Marshall that takes chances & sometimes they work out & sometimes someone gets eaten but he trusts his gut & those following him learn to trust it as well!
this book begins at the Alamo where a group of survivors are trapped in the chapel of the Alamo. because of Grant's quick thinking they were
