I have looked through many crochet and knitting books, but I have never added them on good reads. I was appalled by this books I just had to add it. It's like a collection of the most hideous hats I have ever seen. I have no idea why anyone would want to be seen in public with these hats. There's like 10 acceptable hats out of the 100. Thank god I didn't buy this

This book is great if you have straight hair. Curly-haired people need not apply. The patterns are pretty cute, though--most of them, anyway--and it's a great book to have if for some reason you are losing your hair and need to find creative ways to both work through your anxiety and cover up the loss of your crowning glory. For those of you going through this, my deepest sympathy as I went through it too in 2006. It *will* grow back--just don't expect it to be the same. Good luck!

Some of the models look like they can't believe they were put into these things. There are a few nice patterns lurking.
