This is a really good primer on conducting! It helped me a lot this semester - I'd never had any prior conducting experience, but this made it easy to understand!

This book is great for those who want to know more about conducting a music ensemble but I believe you will still need an instructor to clarify different situations you might be stuck at.

A lot of great information in here, but a good instructor to help guide you through it seemed indispensable to me. I might just be terrible at processing visual aids, but the diagrams were confusing.
