Things like three-word phrases being confessed that would end me if I was rejected. Things like selfishly wanting to own her body and doing things to her that would make my fantasies blush. And things like making her prom ...more

It's pretty darn awesome when you literally stumble across a gem of a book not really knowing what to expect but find something that's a heck of a read and a new author that you can't wait to get your hands on their other works.

Good Vibrations was one of those books that will grab your attention from the get go and leave you turning the pages so fast to see where this train wreck, at times, is going but also knowing there is so much hidden depth to the characters that you want to know EVERYTHIN

This book starts off with Mallory flying to Hawaii to stay with her best friend for two and a half months for summer break. At the airport she clocks a couple saying goodbye to each other. Noting that the girl is quite clearly more into the guy than he is her, Mallory is intrigued so continues to watch. The guy winks at her and she decides he's obviously a jerk if he can flirt whilst saying bye to his girlfriend.

Outside the airport Mallory gets a message

Disappointing! I'd first read "Sleeping with Mr. Sexy" by this author and liked it; I then read "A Prior Engagement" and thoroughly disliked it. I then read "Naturally, Charlie" and loved it (fantastic story, fantastically written), so got this one ("Good Vibrations") hoping for the best ... but unfortunately delivered close to the worst.

As an outline, I don't have a problem with the story: entitled rich boy-with-issues meets visiting girl and both have an immediate physical attraction. They hav

Okay so I have never heard of S.L. Scott before signing up for this blog tour – and HELLO where the crap have I been. I feel in love with this book from the time I started it until the time it ended.

He is charming and such a smooth talker that will jump from one vacationer to the next without a second thought. Living in Hawaii he is living the good life. This will be a hard book to review because of how much I didn't like it. The two main characters are Evan and Mallory. Evan lives in Hawaii and Mallory is spending the summer in Hawaii with her friend. They meet each other when Mallory is in the airport arriving in Hawaii. Their meeting consists of him making out with his current vacation fling while flirting

I think just about every woman has wondered what would happen if she went on a vacation to a sexy tropical paradise and found her own personal boy-toy, ready and waiting to whisk her off her feet the moment her toes hit the sand. Good Vibrations by S.L. Scott, the first book in her Welcome to Paradise series, is the perfect blend of fantasy, angst, snark and steam to get your summer reading off to a good start.

Before reading this book, I checked out a lot of reviews and I was disappointed to see

Good Vibrations was such a fun read and recommended to me by one of my favorite authors, Heather Lyons! It had fun in the sun and surfing. The perfect book to get you in the mood for summer! And now I really want to go to Hawaii :)

I loved the romance, drama, and angst in this book! And this book had a lot of great steamy moments!!

Good Vibrations didn't end on a cliffhanger, but you can definitely tell that the drama is in no way over! I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next!

Welcome to Paradise!

College student Mallory Wray is all set for an awesome summer. She's living with her best friend in beautiful Hawaii for 2 months. Sounds lovely, right? Well, what she wasn't expecting was meeting super hot Evan. Mmmm, how shall I best describe Evan? He may be one cocky and arrogant surfer dude, but what I love is that he is honest with Mallory right from the start that he's a no relationship kind of guy.

Although things heat up pretty quickly for these two early on, it took a

Thank goodness it's FINALLY summer!! And who doesn't love a surfer story. I mean, what not to like about Hawaii and hot guys!?

Mallory and Evan's meeting is definitely a different one. A chance meeting at the airport and a chance for one night of a good time, leads to something much more complicated. Enter Noah, a sweet local, who also is interested in Mallory. A broken relationship between Evan and Noah. There are a TON of questions throughout

3.5 stars. enjoyed it overall. great summer read set in my most favorite beach place. need to read book 2 as the secrets are killing me. whole this series has been out for a while. it was new to me.
SL Scott wrote one of the perfect summer series. There's something about summer love... the sun and the beach open your heart to being carefree and more willing to risk your heart without any expectations. But then you fall in love without even realizing it.

GOOD VIBRATIONS has arrived just in time for summer! Combine the setting, romance, and just enough drama to keep you guessing and you have the perfect beach or poolside read. I have to admit that the cover sold me. I really didn't know much about the book, but I'm a beach girl and I have a thing for surfers, so I was definitely interested. Did the book live up to my expectations? Yes and no.

I like to end on a good note, so I'll start with what didn't work for me. My biggest issue was that I had

What a heart warming story!! Maybe it was because this story takes place during the summer time and in a tropical place, but I do believe that it’s the perfect beach read! I really enjoyed it and finished it in just a matter of hours. It was hot and fun! The characters are relatable and their friends are the perfect sidekicks that have their own love games going on.

My oh my what this book did to me!! Sweet, IN-TENSE, Angst, & Sensual all wrapped in a paradise backdrop of Hawaii!! Have you heard what they say about Pineapple..what? no? it's sweet and sexy and I will NEEEEEVER look at it the same again (and that's a good thing). This book kept me enthralled from the get-go with the tension and back-n-forth banter. I loved how Mallory and Evan could joke but also communicate openly & h

Absolutely loved this book! Mallory is on a summer break from college in Colorado and goes to Hawaii to spend the summer with her BF Sunny and work with her at the local bar. At the airport on arrival she sees a guy and girl making out and hears the girl all weepy cuz she is flying back to the states leaving she thinks the love of her life ...but the whole time the guy is gazing at Mallory like she is his next conquest....which totally pisses her off and she gives him a piece of her mind when he ...more

I love the book cover for Good Vibrations. It's cute, has vibrant and relaxing summer colors, and looks like a story about an easy-going, fun-filled summer romance. So, after seeing this cover, I was excited to sign up for the Good Vibrations Blog Tour. The story is told from the dual perspectives of Mallory, and Evan. Mallory is in the summer before her senior year of college, lives in Colorado, but decides to spend the summer with her best friend Sunny in Hawaii. Sunny has gotten Mallory a job ...more

A summer love in Paradise or a love for life???

This is a story of the angst of young love, the turmoil and upheaval of life in your 20's, and all it brings. Evan and Mallory fell for each other on Mallory's first moments upon arriving in Honolulu. A rich, fun-loving, incredibly attractive bad-boy Evan, uses his good looks and sex appeal to lure new beauty, Mallory to his bed for a one-night stand, another notch on his despots. In Hawaii for the summer college break with her BFF, Sunny, Mallory f

Can't say I loved this one. It was alright, though I found myself skipping through parts after I hit the 70% mark. Not necessarily the book's fault, perhaps I wasn't quite in the mood for the kind of story this was meant to be.

It just felt as though the amorous relationship was much too rushed. I wasn't convinced that they had grown attached to each other so quickly. And for allegedly intelligent people, I was quite disappointed with the lead characters. No forward-thinking, nothing entirely ou

Good Vibrations, by S.L. Scott, was an enjoyable, fast paced read, full of fun, laughter, love, romance, lust, and secrets. This was the story of Mallory, a nice girl, from Colorado, who is on her 2 and 1/2 month summer vacation to the tropical paradise in Hawaii. She is going into her senior year at the University when she returns home. She has decided to get as far away from Colorado as possible, because her relationship with her boyfriend back home has just ended, (due to his cheating) and sh ...more

Enjoyed this book though the on and off thing got a little old. Just as thing seem cemented the book ends and I discover that this story continues in book 2. I hate that. I didn’t see it mentioned when I first got the book so if it was then my fault but now I’ve got to get another book to find out how the story progresses. I probably will do that as the main characters, as well as the secondary characters are appealing. But I’d rather just have one longer book than these separate books.

The title of this book makes me think of a Beach Boys song!

And no I'm not THAT old!!!

However, I do love the beach and what sassy woman can resist a surfer? Not this one my book people!!!

A solid 4.5 **** from this sassy girl!!!

This is book #1 a series, but there is an HEA.

her world turned upside down when she meets Evan Ashford--a wealthy, playboy surfer who's drawn to fast cars an

Was very upset when I reached the end of this story. Too much of the time in this story is descriptive sex. Page after page. Sometimes I felt like it was written for teenagers. The ending just stops and say continued in the next book. I feel there could be a good story here but the author does not seem interested in telling it.
