This has to be one of my favourite textbooks I've ever had to read for uni. It was never too dense or dull, it introduced me to a bunch of other interesting writers I'm keen to look up, and most importantly I just felt personally engaged with what Ife was saying. It's a very idealistic kind of book, but I still love it for that.
