First of all, this book is written by a man. So it's basically getting mansplained about what it means to be a mom by someone who can never be a mom. So there's that. Secondly, this book is more geared to moms who ate married to a husband and are Christian. I'm neither. They do have a section on single moms but it's awful and judgy. This book was painful to read and I can't wait to get rid of my copy. Avoid this book.
I can say that this book is simple and useful with some fun. This book is really a realistic one though its writer was not a "mom" as he said but he wrote it as if "he was there".
