I have read all of Kendall Ryan’s books. In my opinion, Working It is her best book yet! A great mix of angsty, sweet, swoony, and sexy.

Emmy is a recent college graduate who moved from Tennessee to the big apple. She’s got a new job, assistant to the boss from hell, Fiona, who happens to be the top agent to a male modeling firm. Emmy’s job is stressful, but she enjoys it. She enjoys it even more after she meets one particular model. Ben Shaw.

What do you get when you throw in a Model, a Southern girl, Paris as the backdrop oh and super-hot steamy scenes? A FABULOUS KENDALL RYAN READ!

Ben is a high-end Fashion model. He’s rich, good-looking, young, and women want to gobble him up. Emmy is a southern girl from Tennessee. Emmy is not a model, she’s not a size zero and is just trying to make it in the fashion world. Emmy is Fiona’s assistant, who is Ben’s manager. Fiona isn’t easy on Emmy and Emmy has enoug

2.5 disappointing stars!!

I was really, really looking forward to this book. Granted that Kendall Ryan is a hit or miss for me, I was intrigued enough to request this on NetGalley. Plus, who doesn't love reading about a hot male model with more secrets than Vogue and a lowly assistant? I was certainly up for it.

Sadly, this didn't pan out for me. The first half was okay. Nothing exciting but it wasn't bad either. I found Emmy's innocence endearing and Ben Shaw is, as expected, smoking hot. I didn

When I started to read this one, I was so exited...look at the delicious cover! So tempting!!! Just to be fair, I gave 5 stars just for the cover!

But then I made a mental note , this is an erotic novel. Anything could happen. ANYTHING!.

So, my dream came true!!! Yay! "Anything" really happen!

Soooo I keep on reading and skipped some f***ing scene that I should be read slowly and savor it .... hey! it's an erotic novel! You should read the hot scene more care

Working It – Kendall Ryan

Well fuck me running…. Talk about a hot little read!! It’s all here….. Including a threesome with a happy APA piercing!

Emmy is from a small town in Tennessee; she finishes college and moves to the Big Apple to get involved in the fashion industry. She lands an awesome job with the boss from hell. Fiona is Anna Wintour for sure. It has a bit of “The Devil Wears Prada” feel.

Ben, the agency’s golden boy sees the small town Emmy with her down-home ways, regular K-Mart clot

2 stars.

There was something very, very wrong with this story. I was stunned by how unrealistic it seemed, and quite frankly, I couldn’t wrap my head around some of the things that had happened. Everything was forced, dull and just plain boring. And the plot was weird. The basic concept, definitely holds a spark and with more work and thinking it over, Working It could have had a great potential, but at this point, some things were just laughable.

There were times, when I wanted to stop reading a

Dudes. You all need to read this book. Ben is...delicious. And Emmy is so strong and sweet! Loved watching Ben fall for her despite himself. I LOVED IT.

I've been a Kendall Ryan fan long before we became friends and this book didn't disappoint. Add it to your to read shelves, read it the day it comes out and join me in my Ben love fest!

(psst - look at that cover! It's gorgeous!)

I'm really speechless. I really don't know where to begin expressing my thoughts on this novel.

I start by saying that I was very disappointed, either from storyline and the author. I have read three other books by Kendall Ryan, two of which I liked very much, and one so and so. So I could not wait to read the first volume of this new series, pretty sure I would love it. Instead, it turned out to be a real disaster for m

I was instantly immersed in the glamorous and not so glamorous world of modeling through the narration of Emerson, a heroine real and down-to-earth and completely relatable. The chemistry between Emmy and the intense but charming Ben is palpable… and did I mention HOT? Speaking of Ben… wow! Ryan does a fantastic job of bringing a male supermodel to life—Ben’s the ultimate book boyfriend!
Fabulous! Working It is a romantic and incredibly sexy read.

4.5 stars - I “flove” this book! I fucking love it!

Sweet, sexy and angsty, this book took me by surprise by its depth. I was expecting a cute and fluffy read, and instead I got completely swept up in an intense love story.

Emmy has just moved from Tennessee to New York City and started working for a modelling agency. As the assistant to the Director of the agency, she is frontline to the nasty bitch’s demands and moods, but she is also lucky enough to be taken to Paris for three months along with

Kendall Ryan’s “Working It” is a quick, very erotic read.

Emmy left her home in Tennessee, headed to New York, and started a new life and career. Now, she’s working as an assistant in a modeling agency, for a first-class witch. Her job has its challenges and does nothing for her self esteem. Fiona, a wicked shrew, takes great pleasure tormenting Emmy day in and day out. Emmy’s bright side in all this drama is meeting

Oh man, this book was AWFUL. I rarely if ever give a book a one star review, but I just COULD NOT give it any more stars than this. Just terrible, TERRIBLE.

First, I cannot stand an annoying heroine. This girl was the WORST kind for me. Nothing makes me turn on a character more quickly than someone who claims to have certain morals or standards of what they want or expect from other people and then do a 180 and not only turn their back on everything they have stated over and over but do it willin

Okay, so I want to firstly say that I love Kendall Ryan’s books, every one of her previous titles has been 4 or 5 stars for me. I love the originality of her plots and the uniqueness of her characters. That’s why I am sad to be rating Working It with only 3 stars, especially as the lovely lady was kind enough to provide me with an ARC copy for review.

Ben and Emmy are from totally different walks of life; Ben has been born and raised pretty much in the public eye, with the experience in life this

I haven't enjoyed the last few Kendall Ryan books so when I saw this on Netgalley I requested it so that I wasn't wasting money if the story disappointed. Well I'm glad I saved myself some money!

As other reviewers have said, the prologue gives the story away so you know what's coming later in the book. As a British reader, the British character in the book, Fiona annoyed me with her constant references of 'love'. 'hello love', 'morning love', goodbye love'. Yes British people use that term but I

I should have known when I started skimming the first few pages. And then the quick progress of Ben and Emmy's relationship was just the deal breaker for me. This is quite a saucy sexy book but it wasn't lighting my panties on fire. I might come back to this another day as it is a series but it is a DNF for now.

Absolutely horrible...

for once i agree with a bunch of the reviews, though I'm agreeing with the negative reviews, not positive. This was the worst Kendall Ryan book I've read and I'm sorely disappointed.

I didn't feel attached to any of the characters and didn't feel like they were unique or memorable or even slightly relatable.

Emmy never stood up for herself and was a baby. And Ben was a pig. I hated how he never stood up for her or chose her over anyone else.

I especially hated how easily Emm

I just finished this book and hmmm. I love Kendall Ryan, and I realized this is one of older writings so maybe that's why I wasn't like "OMG AMAZING"

Her writing is impeccable. It was Emmy and Ben that kinda annoyed me.

Emmy, gosh girl grow a backbone!! Most of the book she literally had me like ...

She was so nieve at times, and literally gave into Ben's EVERY. SINGLE. WORD. He could do no wrong in her eyes. He messes up, "Oh no it wasn't his fault, he was drunk" Like come on, I wanted

Well Kendall Ryan did it again....this is another one to add to my favorites shelf. I was a little nervous because after reading the prologue I was hooked but it also uncovered something I don't normally like to read about in books, but rest assured it is all explained by the end and I could except the explanation. I thought this was a great book!! As in typical Kendall Ryan fashion it was fairly fast paced and pret

This was a big disappointment for me there was very little to draw me into the story. The two lead characters Ben and Emmy just didn't seem very sincere with one another, in particular Ben. Emmy is a small town girl not particularly innocent but she is unworldly. She's landed a job as an assistant to Fiona the boss of status models. Fiona represents mostly male models, one who seems to be her favourite is Ben. Fiona is a class A b**ch! Emmy seems to cope with Fiona far better than her numerous p ...more

Going into this book, I was hoping the Prologue hadn't already given too much of the story away. But Ben and Emmy turned out to be better than I expected. Especially Ben (or Bennn)! His dirty talking definitely added some spice to the book. His attraction to Emmy may have come off as predictable, but reading from his POV made the story that much more interesting.

Emmy was a relatable character. I'll never be the fashion que

I love Kendall Ryan. And I want this book!

To say that this book is as addictive as crack is an understatement. Did I ever think I'd find a novel that had fashion models interesting? No. Did I think I could hate a fictional villain more than Otto Sanchez (from Carolyn Crane's The Disillusionists trilogy)? Nope. Did I think that I'd end up liking a naive, out-of-place heroine? Not even a little bit. But somehow, I did. From the sexalicious Ben, to the fun and flirty Braydon to the backstabbing bitch Finoa, I fell in love hard with this bo ...more
