Great read, well researched and presented, showing how Mexican films dealt with key "political conflicts" namely, The Mexican Recolution, the student movement, and the Zapatista rebellion.
As someone who's extremely interested in the telling of rebellion and war time stories, this book has been great to me. I only wish I had access to more of the films she mentioned, so far I've managed to download Corazon del Tiempo.
