Contains spoilers if you haven’t read the first two books:

The Raine series started out with a bang for me with This Love of Mine. I loved the first book and was so excited to get my hands on the 2nd book This Trust of Mine. When I finally did I was a little disappointed with it. The drama between Kayla and Madison was so frustrating! They were breaking up and trying to start over so much it became annoying. Even though I was disappointed with book 2, I still wanted to read This Heart of Mine whi

The last part of Kayla and Madison's journey.

This book made me cry in several places just simply because it's one of those heart wrenching books. From book one you get invested in Kayla and Madison's story and you can't just put it down until you reach the end. No matter what happens, you're always rooting for them to make it through and stay together.

In the end of book two, we find out not only that Madison's grandfather died but that Kayla takes a pregnancy test.

In book three, the results o

Let me start by saying that if you haven’t read the Raine Series Books #1 & 2… you should have 1-clicked a long time ago! I’ve been trying to come up with how huge of a fan I am of Amanda Bennett… when I looked it up in the thesaurus this is what I came up with… I am a whale of an oversized, hefty, jumbo, super colossal, chock-full, larger than life, monster fan! I am so glad to say that I can count on her for anything when it comes to advice in the writing/blogging world! She is an author t ...more

I'm sorry to say the only reason I read all three books was because I'm not a quitter!! I don't like leaving bad reviews but I feel that my 1.5 stars deserves an explanation; and I will just be blunt.
The plot was so full of holes these stories were like Swiss cheese. One after another, big events happen in the story, and you're left with more questions than answers. Once something drastic happened, it's quickly over, and on to the next. And let me say anything that could've happened to two peop

Oh holy shit, what a wild ride this was. This Heart of Mine was the perfect conclusion to the Raine series. Madison and Kayla really have had it rough and This Heart of Mine is the roller coaster of a ride of a lifetime. My emotions ran crazy through out the book and I seriously could not put it down. It starts off right where This Trust of Mine left off with Madison’s grandfathers funeral. Kayla has just discovered some life changing news while preparing to stand by Madison during such a diffic ...more

I’m going to make this as *spoiler free* as possible – This Heart of Mine starts off right where This Trust of Mine ended.
Madison is grieving the loss of his grandfather, who he believes made him the man he is today. If he is world isn’t already flipped upside down, it’s about to become worse when Kayla finally shares her news (And I’m sure most of you can see by the cover what that news is so technically it’s not a spoiler).
Of course nothing is ever simple for Kayla and Madison, and while they

I rated This Heart of Mine 5 beautiful leaves!! Madison and Kayla's story has come to an end, and in all actuality, I'm going to miss these characters. I fell right back in love with this story as if I'd never put the first two books down. The writing was fascinating; you can easily relate to the characters, the story kept you turning the pages, and there was a gua

I loved This Heart Of Mine, it was the perfect ending to the series. I'm a little sad the series has finished, no more Madison :-( once I started reading I couldn't put it down.

We pick up where we left off, Madison is dealing with the death of his grandfather. Kayla's test comes back positive being the day of Madison's grandfathers funeral she holds off on telling him. Not only does Madison past come back to haunt him, part of Kayla's does as well!

Madison fights and does everything he can to pro

I really, really wanted to love this series. But I couldn't. I loved the characters! Though it did seem that Kayla just ignored Madison whenever she was mad at him. Seriously, every little thing she got mad at him about, she didn't talk to him for a day or two. And it did seem like it was every little thing, too.

There were also parts of the plot that I'm not sure why they were included. Like

FINALLY the end of this series with no cliffhangers! Although I was sad to see Madison and Kayla's story end I was glad there was NO cliffhanger, those were killing me. Madison is still protective of his girl, "no one EVER speaks to my girl that way. You got me a**hole?" Madison is an idiot in some scenes I was like really did you honestly ask that question, "is it mine?" S***, did I just ask that out loud? "Oh my god, Kayla I didn't mean it like that, I swear. I'm not one to give a bad review, because I know that for someone to write a story/book, they are putting their heart and hard work out there for the world to see. It's putting yourself in a very vulnerable position. That being said, I'm just floored by this series... it was unbelievable... in the worse sort of way. There was no consistency. No attention to detail. It wasn't believable at all. Now, I read a lot of books... A LOT OF BOOKS... so I can suspend reality and go with the flow and enjoy ...more

I had the pleasure of reading This Heart of Mine early and all I can say is "Wow!!!!" What a way to wrap up a series. This is an amazing story, with some unexpected twist. Amanda did an amazing job of keeping you interested with the page turning excitement and a few tears as things begin to fall apart for Madison and Kayla. You will find yourself hoping these two can finally find the happiness they both deserve. Madison will sweep you off of your feet. I won't say how but I promise it is a very ...more

Young love…insecurities…family…friends that are there for you…understanding…the past rearing it’s ugly head…growing up & learning to deal with what life hands you.

Kayla James & Madison Raine haven’t known each other for very long & have fallen in love. These two have been through a lot of heartache, feeling unwanted & pain in their young lives. They are being cared for & raised by their grandparents and finally feeling that there’s hope for feeling loved & giving it back.

Book three in the series still has me swooning over book boy Madison Raine!!! I love his character and his sense of family and loyalty. Amanda Bennett really knows how to center her stories around family and how they really are the glue to keeping likfe together.
There were a few parts that I felt were a little over the top- especially a pivotal scene in the book. It had me thinking really? But at the same time it’s a fictional story with fictional characters so hey why not? It made for an exciti

This Heart of Mine is filled with drama, heartbreak and finally the happily ever after moment I have been looking forward to all along. This is the last installment of the Raine series and the final journey we get to share with Kayla and Madison.

The last book left off where we discovered Kayla was pregnant and Madison was dealing with the death of his grandfather.

In This Heart of Mine Kayla struggles with telling Madison about the baby, while on the other hand Madison is h

OMG...OMG...OMG!!!!! This was a fabulous book!!! This who journey through all three books was unbelievable!! I am so glad I took the time to read this series....and this was a beautifully written book to end it!! This was a wonderful ending to the series. There was just as much drama and angst as the first 2 books but I loved how it all came together.

In this final installment, you finally get the answer to the cliffhanger from book 2. There were times I wanted to scream at both Maddison and Kayla for their actions (and assumptions) but I kept reading and it was worth it.

Maddison is as sexy as ever and there was one scene where I think I might have drooled on my tablet. That is one hot cowboy!

I love this series since This Love of Mine and this is a perfect ending for Madison & Kayla’s story.

There was less drama in this book compared to the last 2 but I think this is more intense. The challenges that Madison & Kayla had experienced is definitely a hard one and for such a young age, they moved past it says a lot about their love and relationship. Amanda gave us a perfect ending & I could not ask for more. It was magical

Through turmoil and tears, this was the perfect way to end the Raine series and deal the deal between Madison and Kayla. This is where it all comes down, the last straw. The suspense and action that builder in this story was incredible. When I had discovered Wren was alive, I had to reread those pages a few times to comprehend what had just happened. The rush feeling I felt when Joey and Kayla were tied up was indescribable. There was fear and anticipation coursing through my body. This book had ...more

I enjoyed the first two books of this series but was very disappointed with this one. I felt it was rushed and not thought out very well.

In this situation who would not get the police involved? Who in a coma for a week with a broken arm, leg, hip and ribs and have their spleen removed wake up and be released from the hospital the same day they wake and on crutches?

I love Amanda's work and look forward to read her other books but was disappointed with this one.

Perfect ending to this sweet young love story. I enjoyed that the characters were young but that they were not written as overly mature or having it all together. This frustrated me in the beginning thinking that I would react differently in the same situation but stepping back and putting it into context of a young adult mind make this story that much more enjoyable for me. It held a bit of suspense and thrill which kept my interest. I would recommend this book if you are looking for a sweet ro ...more

I was so excited for this book to come out, and was definitely NOT disappointed! I had goosebumps throughout, my heart was racing, I'm almost mad at myself for being cursed with the fast reader gene! I love Madison's character so much, and the love he has for Kayla. The lengths he will go to to protect his family is amazing. And the same can be said about her. She truly loves Madison and will for sure protect what is hers. The last few chapters and even the epilogue were beautiful! Can't wait to ...more

I just want to say this series is just beautiful. Gosh I love Madison and Kayla. They go through several trials and tribulations but come out on top! This particular book in the series was my favorite. I do not want to reveal too much but lets say WOW. Madison does not give up nor does Kayla. I wish there was more to this series. I know all good things must come to an end but I love them! Amanda wrapped up everything in a nice little bow.

That was a crazy ride!!!! Up, down & everywhere in between!! Kayla's being a little selfish & childish in the beginning pissed me off a little bit but I felt so much better later on and the s*** with Madison's dad & her, just wow...totally crazy!!! Loved the happy ending...the only thing I would've loved to see differently would've been to see into their future a little farther but still such a wonderful story!!!

This book was much more dramatic than the first two. There was an added element of suspense. And Madison and Kayla's relationship finally seemed to reach a point where they both love each other completely and trust each other fully. It was obvious after the end of book two, that there was going to be a baby coming. And nothing makes me happier than seeing a family come full circle and find their happy ever after.

Great ending to this short and sweet series.
