I love Louisa May Alcott's book Little Women so I really enjoyed reading this biography about her. The book is very informative with all kinds of facts and stories about her life as well as many facts about the books she has written. Louisa's father was a very wise man but he struggled providing for his family. Louisa's family was good friends with Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau so she learned from a very young age to think and study the world around her. Her goal in life was to become wealthy so she could help provide for her family's needs.
