"Happiness is the progressive realization of a worthy goal."
"You become what you think about most of the time."
I have been familiar with all the principles in this book from other books and videos by Brian Tracy himself. This is just another quick read to remind myself and to further instill these steps into my subconscious mind, or, according to Tracy, the super conscious mind.
The premises are simple. What you repeat so often, whether mentally or physically, becomes automatic; what becomes automatic becomes easier and habitual. Think positive thoughts most of the time, and you'll feel better, most of the time. Think positive thoughts most of the time, and, as the Law of Attraction entails, you'll start attracting positive outward changes in your life. Every real change, Tracy says, starts with a change in your mental pictures.
Anyway, if I were to give the top three practical things you can thrive on by doing them everyday:
1- Meditate. 2- Visualize and affirm. 3- Develop the habit of daily goal setting. Have clear written goals.
Brian Tracy is one of my favourite old school motivational but also practical skills; writer/speaker. I have read at least 20 of his books and all of them are great! If you want to achieve ANY goal, treat this book like your bible.
Everything in this book you've probably read or heard before. It's still worth reading.
This book gives you the meat of successful goal setting without the fluff.
Even though I'm familiar with 99% of the info in this book, the way it's presented helped me identify overlooked aspects of my personal goal setting that holds me back from achieving what I want.
If you feel stuck or want to know a successful method for setting and achieving goals, this book is a good primer.
Nothing too special. If you've heard Tracy speak or read one of his other books, this will not be anything mindblowing. Abcde method, think on paper, self-esteem, etc.
These 12 steps are the program for unharnessed humans to transform into successful people. This coding will help us achieve our goals faster and provide clarity and a pathway to our lives.
