He is also co-editor, with Michael Stoff, of New Narratives in American History, a series published by Oxford University Press, as well as the coauthor of textbooks in American history. These include "Experience History," "After the Fact: The Art of Historical Detection," and "US: A Narrative History" for the college level and "The American Nation" for the middle grades.

A decent overview of the surface of US history. No, it does not go into the deep details of events, but that cannot be expected in such a broad ranging account.

A well done compilation of U.S. history, filled with balanced analysis, and surprisingly a little humor.

This was my textbook for apush, and i have to say that while it was an easy read, it functioned well for that class. So easy i couldnt believe ot was used in an AP class.
