"The Dutchman" Pieter Menten befriended the Jews of a small village in Poland and was well liked by everyone. Especially Bibi, who hunted and fished with Pieter and whom Pieter helped to move to Palestine before the war. But a business deal gone sour forced Pieter to leave. He became a Nazi collaborator, returned to the village and assassinated all the Jews including Bibi's family. Bibi struggles for years to bring the crime to the courts, finally getting justice after 39 years.
