Gemma decides to follow in her father’s footsteps and attempt to change the vision of the end of the world. If she can pull it off, then maybe sh

4.5 Stars! Loved it but this cliffhanger is just...AWFUL!! O_o Review to come...
My jaw just literally dropped with that cliffhanger I can't believe Gemma 's pregnant I had a feeling when Alex had his had on her stomach.
Can't wait to read the last book.
Jessica Sorensen and her cliffhangers. WHY!?

This book was frustrating good! I seriously can't get enough of these books.

When Alex died it was such a sad thing then Gemma reset time to where he didn't I was jumping for fracking joy! I'm still not a big fan of Alex but I'm growing to like him more so.

Gemma had an awful lot of encounters during this book.

I seriously thought she would on some level end up with Laylen but to the looks of everything. Alex and Gemma are done for. I have no idea how the hell Alex is going to try and save Gemma

I love Jessica Sorensen and I read all her books but this one is just pissing me off....its dragging on and I swear if Laylen touches Gemma again, I will have to kill him myself....but the ending was pretty good...I knew it was going to happen, I just felt it in my bones with all the times her and Alex had sex without a condom...but at the end I still sat there with my mouth handing open like a dumbass.

Omg the feels I got when reading this book, it was quite an exhilarating ride. I have to admit I love a new adult story that can combine fantasy/paranormal and erotica (not really erotica just a little smidge) all in one, there is just so many different thrilling elements that make the story in intense and but you on edge while reading the story. Since reading book two I’ve been getting those intense emotions non-stop. In book three again there was no slow point, no slowing down and if

Finally!!! A direction for this series I’ve been begging for. I really like this series. Fallen Star was equally fantastic, but I love the progression of this story and the many directions it is taking. I am hooked right now. But unfortunately I will have to wait for book # 4. If you have any questions about this series please message me. I don’t want to give any spoilers so don’t ask.

Gemma should be with Alex ... Laylan is tragically dead !! They liked each other but that's all the thing they have is due to the feeding ... Alex is her man !!

3.0-3.5. The one was a little bit of a step backward for me, maybe because there was too little romance/heat between Alex and Gemma. I will say that most of the time, it’s not absolutely necessary to read novellas between the actual novels, but in this case, I would highly recommend reading Unbroken.

Stephan told Gemma that if she and Alex fell in love, they would both die; then he put a spell on Gemma and instructed her to kill Alex. When she realizes what she’s done, she blacks out and wa

I don't tend to write reviews but it's 1.40am, I just finished book 3 and I'm all over the place emotionally!
I did read the series when it was published as YA and I know I liked it but since then (it's been a few years) the story had become blury so I was reading this with a somewhat blank slate.
I'm not going to go into the plot because I'm sure other reviews do that a lot better than I ever could but I'm in love with this series. I love Gemma, Alex, Aislin, Laylen and I've even got a love-hat

Okay! So this book was AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I read all of the fallen stars series and loved them so of course when the adult versions came out I HAD to read them! They gave me all the steamy scenes with Alex and Gemma that I couldn't find in the YA ones! The shattered promise series are PERFECT! There are no words that can describe how much I love this series.

And the ending to this book OMG!!!!!!!! I mean ITS EFFING BRILLIANT!!!!!!

I cannot wait for the next and shouted NOOOO a few times when I real

What the absolute hell!? That cliffhanger!! Amazing third installtion to this series! There are very few series that not only are the second and third books just as good if not better then the first book, but also leaves you begging for a fourth! can't wait to get my hands on the next one to find out more on Gemma's and Alex's adventure to save the world!

***3.5 stars***

Let me start by saying that if you haven’t yet read the novella Unbroken, you’ll need to before diving into this next installment because there are some key events you need to know about first. With Broken Vision, we’re back with this twisted band of gifted and empowered, and this time around Gemma is struggling with her own decisions that will determine the fate of the world. After her father tells her that she’s being given a second chance to fix the past by turning back time, G

So far, “Broken Visions” by Jessica Sorensen is the best book out of the series! Plot thickens, emotions deepen and characters develop further in this paranormal story.

I’ve enjoyed the characters throughout the “Shattered Promises” series. Sorensen gives us more to love in her third installment. Gemma started out as the blank slate main character. In Book One, she found her emotions. In Book Three we learn that Alex was responsible for that development. Now Gemma is dealing with so many emotions

I have mixed feelings about this book. One half of me is screaming how amazing it is and the other half is slapping myself in the face asking why I read this. Don't get me wrong, the book is great, it's more what's happens that makes me want to punch myself.

As usual Gemma is confused, out of the loop with everything, but she's learning. I love watching - is that the right word? - this character grow into the Keeper/Forseer/woman she was always intended to become. It's even more amazing seeing ho

Man I finished this book in one day then went back and read the last few chapters again lol… just loved it this is the best yet of the Shattered promises.
Just love Gemma I will admit that I was one of the girls that was on the fence about her and Alex I mean they were hot together but I really just wanted her and Laylen to do it just once lol…. Then we have Nickolas and he is so freaking funny he lives to make Gemma crazy.
This story picks up where book 2.5 leaves us with Gemma possessed. She h

I began reading this series when it was YA, then read Jessica was going to redo it as NA, so I figured I'd wait for that one. I only got about two books into the other series, so I'm not sure how closely they follow. I will say, that I kept feeling all along as if this book needed something. Needed to see Gemma be stronger, needed more of her figuring things out on her own, needed no love triangle. I'm just not sure. There were times I didn't even feel as if this book was needed. I know Gemma th ...more

I have loved this series from the very beginning. I'm not sure if the story changed or I have since the last book that I read. Gemma got on my nerves. I get that this story is mostly about Gemma and her growth through this whole series but I remember liking her in the first couple of books. Alex became kind of a push over in this book too. I can't say that I agree that Laylen needs to be a factor at this point at all. It seems like it was done and now is unnecessary. Not saying that I don't like ...more

I enjoyed this book, however, not as much as the other 2.5 in the series. I felt like this one was rushed and not as well developed as the first 2. Not to mention all the typos, missing words, wrong words, etc... It really detracted from the quality of the story. I almost feel like J.S. was trying to rush this book for the reader. We were all dying for it come out! I can appreciate getting it out for us, but I'd rather wait a little longer for a fuller developed, error free story.

First the good...I really like the story idea here, and I look forward to seeing Gemmas journey go on. Her and Alex have a dillima that even though they have feelings for each other it's dangerous to act. Laymen is a likeable character as well. now for the bad...Aslin, well she is just annoying, childlike, and whines to much. her whole presence miffs me. I just find her character to be a source irritant. when the story is going on without her it's more enjoyable, I do look forward to the next bo ...more
I'm feeling really wishy-washy about not only this book, but this entire series. I like it...I like the idea behind it...but I really feel like it's been drawn out SO much. What is being told in a story that is prolonged through 4 books and a novella could've been told in 2 books, tops. I think that's why this took me so long to get through. I had to take a break. Don't get me wrong, I'll finish out the last book of the series, but I'm going to take a break for a while. I'm feeling exhausted wit ...more

Ok, I love this series, but I want to bang my god damn head off the wall for being stupid enough to read this one before waiting for the next one to come out. I truly thought this book would be the last in the series. But apparently not. I NEED ANSWERS DAMN IT. Ugh, I hate to say I effing love this story. It bugs me that I'm so addicted to it. Oh and theres a huge god damn cliff hanger. I'm pissed. It's not for everyone. I'm not really into this type of paranormal story, but this one sucked me i ...more

Oh geez!! These endings are killing!!! Each book just gets better and better and I can't stop myself from immediately starting the next one. Lots of sleep has been lost because of these books. The characters are amazing and continue to grow each book. I am finally content with how everything is coming together and wham, my heart is ripped out and I am devastated with the decision of one character!! All I know is it better change in this next book!!
While the story starts to come together, we find more intrigue and mystery in the Shattered Promises world. We meet Gemma's father and while we want to trust that he has Gemma's best interest at heart, he's not a clear cut hero in our story. Gemma has a lot of challenges to face and her growing attraction to Alex could potentially seal the face of the world. What is a girl to do?
