Not a big fan of kindle books because I'm an old school reader with my paperback book in my hand, coffee or wine in the other hand, and reading glasses butttt I heard good things about it and a friend of mine read it and told me I should because I'm single, living in NYC, and dealing with the lovely online dating scene.
I really liked it. I'm a huge sucker for Chick-lit books and this reminded me of Sophie Kinsella (who I adore). It's a quick read, funny, and just a feel good book.

I started reading this book because I liked the cover without knowing what it was about, just imagining it by the name. So I didn't know that female characters had been written copying the characters from Sex and the City. Personally I didn’t notice until I saw the synopsis, so for me it was not so obvious.

Lucia Pia is an unmarried woman living in New York, who does not find a man who fills her parameters, but with pressure from her Italian family to marry and have children. She

Lucia Pia is a successful career woman in the television industry, but she is having absolutely no luck in romance. She is feeling loads of pressure from her traditional Italian-American family to "just find a nice Italian boy and settle down". Seeing her good friends in relationships only makes her feel more lonely. Out of desperation, she decides to join "Chat Love", and online dating site, in an effort to try to meet someone interested in a long- term relationship, possibly marriage. Successi ...more
Chat Love is a humorous women's fiction/chick-lit novel written by author Justine Faeth. Whether you are single or in a relationship, most women will be able to relate to the heroine: Lucia Pia and her struggles in the dating world. This book started out with a scene that had me rolling with laughter, and Lucia's continuous online dating disasters kept the laughs coming. This element was my favorite part of the book. I also really enjoyed all the secondary characters written into this story. The ...more

It was a quick, incredibly riveting read; I finished reading it in two days which doesn't happen to me so often - a testament that shows how captivating the book is. The plot was well-written and it was just so much fun to read!
The try and error part that describes the ups and downs of the dating site is just hilarious. Although the overall plot was a bit predictable, especially I could foresee the spark between the main two characters from miles away and knew all too well how they were going to

Received this (e)book from the author and was asked to read and review it. It had been on my to-read list and I had every intention of reading it but I'm so glad she contacted me and it was moved to the top of my list!
I really enjoyed this book!! I'm a sucker for good chick-lit and Chat Love definitely fit the bill. Justine's writing has a wonderful easy flow about it. Kind of reminds me of one of my favorite authors, Emily Giffin. I didn't want to put the book down and stayed up entir

Lucia has the perfect life--a budding career, wonderful friends, and a great family. But the one thing she doesn’t have is a boyfriend.  Her twenty-eighth birthday is coming up and she still hasn’t found love. Her friends convince her to try Chat Love, an online dating service. She goes on an endless string of bad dates with the men she meets on this website, all the while trying to ignore the handsome jerk in the office who has his eye on her...

My Thoughts
This is such a cut

My Thoughts: I just want to thank the author, Justine Faeth, for sending me a message asking me to review her book. I am always up for a good chick-lit, which is what I heard this was. I enjoyed this story. I thought it was cute and fun. Some of what Lucia was going through hit home for me. I am a late twenties single lady who is always getting asked Where's the boyfriend? You better find somebody quick, you don't want to be alone forever. That's always a boost to my self esteem! I however, have

I wanted to read this book immediately after reading the synopsis, and I was honoured when the author, Justine Faeth, approached me and sent me an ebook copy in exchange for an honest review.

The book synopsis is a very promising one. Lucia is having trouble finding a man. After a few disastrous dates, she chooses to follow her friend’s advice and tries Chat Love, an online dating service. As promising as the synopsis sounds, this book didn’

It follows an Italian women on the quest for love she tries everything including online dating.
Until she realizes her love was in front of her the whole time.
A definite must read if you love chick-lit and romance.
Can wait for Justine to write another book! Brilliant author and written so well.
Disclaimer: This book was sent to me by the author, Justine Faeth, for an honest review.

Opinion: Well here we are my darlings, a book that we can all relate to: meeting countless idiots on the way to find your ONE TWU WUV. Is it a Prince Charming or a Prince Toad?!? *Sigh*…cue the cringing and face palming ladies, because the relatable embarrassment and horrible memories are about to ensue.

With the pressures from her family to get married and start having children, Lucia finds that she is almo

I really enjoyed this book! It reminded me of Sophie Kinsella's style of writing, one of my favorite authors. This book definitely had me laughing throughout the whole thing, and there wasn't a bit of it I didn't enjooy reading. Would definitely recommend for fans of Sophie Kinsella, Lauren Weisberger, or 'chick-lit' type books!
Chat Love was fun and funny. The book has a tale about online dating that is perfect for today. I must admit, Justine had me in one of the first scenes... imagine being in Lucia's shoes, on a blind date with what actually seems like a great guy, she lets herself get swept up and spends some lip-lock time. Now, fast forward to her trip home from the restaurant in a taxi; Lucia is on the phone with the friend who set her up on the blind date tonight and she turns to see her date Richard in the car ...more

Chat Love is the perfect summer read. It's funny, the writing style is amazing, and the characters are beautifully written. It drew me in right from the start and had me laughing throughout. On top of it all, the book is fast paced, like I want my romance books to be.

I don't wanna give anything away, you gotta read it to see. I recommend it.

The author of this book gave me a free copy in exchange for an honest review, and honest is what I will be.

When I started this book, I was kind of on guard. I usually tend to stay away from Romance as the books tend to be very soppy and predictable. This one however was different. It is of course a romance novel and still has the signs of a typical romance, but it is also very different.

Lucia Pia is in her late 20's, single and feeling the pressure from her parents to get married. Her

I was given a copy of this ebook, by the author, in return for an honest review, which I am more than happy to give. This was a well written story about the pitfalls Lucia faces when making a foray into online dating. I laughed, I cringed, and I felt sorry for her...... This is a great book for lovers of chick-lit, or romantic comedies. I could actually imagine this as a movie and I think it would be very popular. Looking forward to Justine's next book!

My middle name is Lucia, I have an Italian back and I met the love on my life on a dating site. Ok, enough about me.

This is the story of Lucia, an Italian girl who, fed up of dating the wrong guys, decides to join an online dating site. Chat Love. But will she meet the love of her life online too?

I absolutely loved the book and could not put it down. It made me laugh out loud and loved her disastrous dates 

I would definitely reccommend this book chick lit lovers. A must read for whoever has exp

First, I'd like to thank the author, Justine Faeth , for asking me to read her book. It's was my pleasure to read.

Chat love is a romantic comedy about the things we do to find that special someone. Lucia is a young lady, soon turning 28, who wishes to be in love and loved by someone. She allows her friends to encourage her to pursue online dating and the romantic comedy galvanizes into fits of humor, dates of dullness, dates of adventure, and a little stalking included.

I got this book free from the author as long as I did a review. I have to say I really enjoyed this story about Lucia and her quest toward finding Mr. Right. Lucia is from a big Italian family, with a younger sister who is already married with a baby on the way, so what is taking her so long to find Mr. Right? Lucia feels like she has exhausted all her options except trying a internet dating service called Chat Love. There is also a coworker who she has chemistry with, but should she really mix ...more

I received a copy of this from the author, for a review.
It was also the first e-book I ever read and received which in itself opened a new level of crazy to my book obsession. I have read this about 3 times, as writing a review is not something I normally do I prefer to leave peoples minds to their own devices.
But, I love chick lit, it is my escape and this book is one of new favourites and am looking forward to more from this author.

Justine Faeth kindly got in touch and offered me her book 'Chat Love' for free if I was willing to write a review. It just so happens I love love love a bit of chick-lit so I said yes! I thought the pink and blue cover was pretty cute :) Not a stranger to online dating myself I found Lucia's (sometimes funny, sometimes horrible) date stories very easy to relate to. The writing flows and is fun, I finished the book pretty quickly. It is quite clear who Lucia is going to end up with from the begin ...more

Right before starting this book, I wasn't exactly sure what to expect.

But I was pleasantly surprised!

Lucia being close to my own age had some significance to what is going on in my mind and it was a interesting to change up from the usual early-20's characters that is more common in the books I've read.

Definitely a Sex-and-The-City-with-a-twist!

Definitely worth being recommended!

* I received the book from the author for an honest review. *

Let me start by saying I haven’t read a lot of romance lately. I used to love it but it all became the same thing and I just got tired of it. I read it every once in a while but it has to sound new and interesting and truly possible for me to believe to read and this was exactly what I was looking for. I read this book in a day because every time I put it down I was wondering what was going to happen next and couldn’t help but pick it

I have to say that I really enjoyed this book!!! For the first chapter or two I wasn't really sure about it (which happens with quite a few books), but once you get a feel for Lucia and her friends you get completely sucked in to the story. This was a fantastic read for me. Although it isn't my typical genre, I was offered the opportunity to read and give an honest review. And honestly, it was fun! The characters were very likable and some I could even see myself hanging out with. Sometime the lead female was really naive and you wanted to scream, "hello!!!!" to her but everyone has a friend like that.

I found the male characters typical and nothing really special. The dating experiences were hilarious to me and being a married wo

Let me start by saying I enjoyed this book and I would absolutely read another Justine Faeth book. To me, it's a mix of Sex and the City (as described in the synopsis), You've Got Mail, and My Big Fat Greek Wedding (her family thinks she's needs to find herself a good Italian man, get married, and have babies, ASAP). Reading this book makes me so glad I'm not on the dating market because boy does Lucia find herself some winners. I love her dedication to keep trying to find her perfect match desp ...more

It was a cute fluffy quick read, but way too predictable to me. Also, sometimes I was desperate to smack Lucia on the face because of the way she thinks. She's so desperate to find a man and sometimes it annoyed me that she felt like a man would make everything perfect and she's obsessed with the idea of wedding, something that made me sick of reading. Other than that it was nice and I enjoyed most of it.

P.S. Big thanks to Justine Faith, the writer of the book, for gifting it to me.

This was a super cute light read. While predictable at times, I genuinely enjoyed the characters and the story line. I found myself laughing out loud at many of Lucia's failed dates and the antics of her loving, but crazy family. I was pleasantly surprised by this book and would recommend it to anyone who likes fun, light chick lit.
