Sexy, passionate, body pulsing, when you find true love and someone has wronged them, there has to be revenge and it’s always served best when it’s unexpected.
When Billy is asked by Mickey to be a bodyguard for his family after the twins were kidnapped, he readily accepts. Being a Londoner and working the clubs for many years at first he finds life in Kent difficult, he misses the lifestyle he’d had. Then as time passes and to his surprise he finds himself craving the family life that Maria and Mickey had shown him.
When he is no longer needed to protect the twins he is reluctant to return to his old life. So when the opportunity to buy a club in Kent with ex detective, George Davage and Mickey arises, he readily accepts. He likes the idea of being a club boss and he wants to stay in Kent, especially since meeting and falling for Jess, the naive young girl that Maria has taken in with her baby. She’s different to anyone he has met before, a quiet, shy girl, not the type that you would expect to see with someone like Billy. Finally he’s found his soul mate, but despite her obvious love for him, Jess has a terrible secret from her past that keeps her from getting close to any man. Billy is not about to give up on her and with the help of Maria he discovers the truth. He knows that until her past is resolved there will be no future for them. It’s only after discussing Jess’s past and the dreadful injustice she’s suffered at the hands of solicitor Neville Howard that he, along with the others decide justice must be done for her.
Billy's Move is the fourth book in the RUTHLESS series.
Karen Clow is passionate about her writing especially her erotic crime books; as they cover topics which we all like to believe don’t happen, when in fact they do on a daily basis. Sex crimes along with women who live in fear of their partners are real. All her work comes from the heart which is reflected in her ability to write in different genres. Her books leave you believing in the topic and wanting to read more. She is fiercely protective over her family and has always endeavoured to have time for them and her writing, so it’s no surprise that she often writes during the night hours. With a genuine love of people and animals, she strives to help everyone in the hope of making their lives better, yet unbeknown to many of them she is also a published poet .
Fantastic series of books, really gripping, looking forward to to the next in line, Tony is up next, every book goes in depth about the character while still keeping you up to date with the others. Can't recommend highly enough.
Loved this fourth book in the ruthless series. Was nice to have other characters introduced but also look into the family life of other characters who were just background characters before.
Loved this book and hope there is another, perhaps the story of Tony’s children And of course Billy’s children not forgetting Maria and her family. Great read.
Although this was another great book it concentrated a lot on Tony and Billy deserves more recognition. This follows on from Billy staying as a bodyguard at Mickys house and finding something that changes his life but is it for better or worse!
