Four months ago, I couldn’t have been happier. When my parents got divorced, I wasn’t exactly thrilled. Especially when Mom married a guy half her age. But

There's something absolutely refreshing about Kelbian Noel's voice. I got to read an early version of this book, and so I won't give a full review, because I plan to read it again. But I will say, if you like a spunky, wry and very girl-power MC, you will love this book. It's full of fun witchy-ness too, that's "rooted" (LOL, sorry... play on the first book) in true Pagan, Wiccan, etc. religions.

The Witchbound series jumps from Baltimore’s story in Roots (fitting since her element is earth), to Skye’s story in Sprung.

Skye Jackson is a bit of a hot mess. Her mother and grandmother didn’t get along. Her dad put her grandmother in a home to keep the family together, but it wasn’t enough. He screwed up everything, and now her mother has married a guy half her age and they live in a McMansion. Her new stepdad thinks he’s going to run her life, using the placard of being a good dad.

I was sent a copy of this book from the author in exchange of an honest review.

**Moderate spoilers.**

Sprung is a great companion sequel to Roots. Started off giving this a 4.5 star rating, but I just had to bump it to 5 stars. Simply profound!

This follows an Elemental witch named Skye Jackson, her element is air, which I think is very cool. Skye is a very spunky and curious character. I like how she spent time learning from and talking to her grandmother about magic. I love that her father was a

Confusing at the beginning, but great at the end. Kelbian Noel has done it again!

I was still really glad that it was tied to the first book Roots in different ways.

From the summary, Skye comes off as a sassy teenager, which is exactly what she is!

Sprung is a book that is filled with sass and bad-ass teenagers!

I was happy that this book taught me as much as the first one about the world Noel has built upon. With different characters on a main level, the story is more interesting and teaches you a

To begin with I was disappointed that this book wasn't about Baltimore, but instead Skye. But as I got into the story I enjoyed it more than the first one - Roots. I really liked it when the characters from Roots came into this story, Ramon in particular.

There were similarities to Roots in that Skye broke up with her boyfriend, as did Baltimore in Roots. There was an older relative who taught about magic(in this book it was the Nan, it was the Grandpa in Roots) and there was a best friend who d

Kelbian Noel did it again! I enjoyed Roots and no doubt I enjoyed it too. although this book is not about Baltimore, it tells us about Skye, another teenage witch that has to deal not only about teenage problem but also magic.

I like this book as Noel unfolds the story and twist, it's refreshing and funny. it always nice to feel like a teen again, lol.

I like this Skye character as well, she's fun and kind and how she defends her best friend, it's ep

I was a bit confused when i first started reading the second book of this series as i was expecting it to continue along with Baltimore story but no we have a whole new character. Then i realized that each book will be about each of the 4 elemental s and how they hopefully will all come together. I was glued to this book once again from beginning to end just something about Noel writing that kept me turning those pages. Great story.

First, I would like to thank the author Kelbian Noel for giving me this book for an honest reveiw. I was at first confused when the characters from the first book weren't there, but they did come later. I enjoyed this book as much if not more than the first book. The story-line is good, the world building is nicely done. The characters are well developed and written. I am looking forward to more of this series and more from this author.
