Horse Sense: Pure & Simple

Rate this book
The author of the best-selling cowboy-humor classic DON'T SQUAT WITH YER SPURS ON! now gives us straight talk from the horse's mouth. The pages are packed with such life- (and horse-) related quips such as: "For every mile of bad road you travel, there's two miles of ditch you're staying out of" and "If you look a gift horse in the mouth, you could lose a nose."

I love this book! Horse Sense is a collection of humorous and wise sayings that will appeal most to horse people and cowboys. It is short enough that it can be read in one sitting, and (in my opinion) is enjoyable and funny enough that it can be opened up again and again, and can gift the reader with laughter and lightened spirits every time.

A fun little book that I found in the bathroom of our vacation rented house. My favorite quote

Fore every mile of bad road you travel, they're two miles of ditch you're stayin' out of.
