This is the sequel to Dinosaur Wars: Earthfall. It may be better than the original. The science fiction is top-notch, especially where intelligent human-sized dinosaurs are concerned. And the big dumb beasts, like T rex and Utahraptors do their best to create mayhem almost on every page. This was a very exciting read from start to finish, with characters you really begin to care about. I highly recommend it for all ages.

This review is from: Dinosaur Wars: Counterattack (Kindle Edition)

The fragile truce between the returned dinosaurs and humans is broken. The fate of the world hangs in the balance. Can peace be achieved or will one side destroy the other? In addition to the intelligent and mostly hostile Kra, there are T-rexs, raptors and other wild dinosaurs brought back by the Kra with which humans must contend. This is a quick, fun novel suitable for both adults and juveniles. The story has action, intrigue, adventure, thrills, spills, chills and romance.

why can’t just have a nibble

Coexistence is a difficult task that requires patience and trust. Neither dinosaurs or humans have great quantities of each. This book is a story about trust and reconciliation which neither side is ready for. After the war, the two sides realize it is easier to come to a truce than continue. This installment lays out two paths that can be taken. The next book will show what happens.

A great sequel to the original book, Earthfall. What I find most interesting is the hints of romance that crop up from time to time between the young hero and heroine. It's a lot like Star Wars, where Leia and Han are always on the verge of some passion, but horrendous events come along to foil them. This is a fun, action filled adventure with a little romance on the side. Great escapist reading!
