"Tell me about your family."

"I don't like to talk about them."

"Why not?"

"Because when I block out the past, I'm less frightened about the future."

Her honesty caught Conway by surprise. He'd never pictured Isi as a woman intimidated by anything. "Tell me. Please."

I had a lot of problems with this book.

Conway Twitty is rabid about not being a father. He only wants to date women who do not have kids and never want to have kids. He's terrified of being a father and very against it.

I loved this book. Conway and Isi were perfect for each other. Conway would really like to find a wife and settle down, but he wants a woman who doesn't want kids. He is one of six boys who all have different fathers. As a boy he felt the lack of a father so when he was old enough he went looking for his. What he found was a man who had no problem walking away from his responsibilities, as did his grandfather. Conway was afraid that this meant he would do the same thing, so he would just avoid b ...more

Conway Cash is determined not to date a woman with kids or a woman who wants kids, because he comes from a long line of cut-and-run fathers and worries he'll do a runner when the going gets tough. I'll give my thoughts on Conway later! However, after a punch meant for him breaks the nose of long-time friend Isi Lopez, he steps up to babysit her twin four-year-old sons Javier and Miguel so that she doesn't miss any work. He quickly falls for the whole family, but his belief he had "bad dad syndro ...more

Cash Brothers Series Book Two

Conway Twitty Cash has one rule --never date a woman with kids. As a teenager he searched and found his father who was never around in his life. He discovered he came from a long line of fathers who had abandonment issues. Figuring he would end up the same type of father he wanted to meet a woman who was "the one". One that would be OK without having kids. When he met Isi Lopez he thought he found his "the one" until he discovered she had twin boys. They became best

“In a nutshell, this delightful, romantic tale by Marin Thomas is about finding “the one”, healing past hurts, learning to appreciate what you have now and trusting yourself to make things work. While it is devoid of heavy drama that some (picky) readers may wish to find in books of the same genre, its positive take (on family, responsibilities and love) and its realistic portrayal of everyday life make it an engaging read.

Enjoyable book. The series was good and interesting.

Ok, so the cover might fool you. but the blurb definitely say it all. I find that I have to put my cover feelings aside when I see this one because Twins Under The Christmas Tree by Marin Thomas is so good.

Meet Conway Twitty Cash, one of those infamous Cash Brothers and the so-called handsomest of the bunch. Conway has women falling at his feet and hardly ever says no..... unless the lady in question has kids or wants them in the future because Conway has sworn off being a daddy...ever, but he i

In Twins Under the Christmas Tree by Marin Thomas, Conway Twitty Cash wants to settle down and have a wife, but he is dead set against being a father. Knowing where he comes from gave him a such a scare that he doesn’t want to repeat his father’s and grandfather’s mistakes himself, and the best way is to avoid them completely. So when at a rodeo a woman comes on to him he cannot help but be happy to see where it leads, until a picture she send him has a child’s clothing article in the b

Conway Cash and Isi Lopez. Two people who have known each other for a long while through the bar she works at. He comes to her for advice and considers her his best friend. Unfortunately for him, Isi has a set of precocious twin boys and Conway has vowed to never have children. One day Isi is badly in need of a babysitter and guess who is tagged? You will enjoy this book as much as I did! Can't wait to read about the next brother!

Great story about a woman with young twin boys, who works hard to support them, along with going to school to try to make a better life. She deserves a break & wants Conway, who considers her a friend. Conway wants Isi, too, but doesn't think he will be a good father, due to family history. Conway may be my newest book boyfriend! I like that the Cash family siblings all get involved & trying to see them to a HEA! Looking forward to the next book in the series!
Looking forward to settling into this story! Thank you Marin & Firstreads!

I love a good solid romance novel and this fits the bill quite nicely. Isi and Conway were perfect for each other, we could all see that, and thankfully by the end they could see it too.

Too often, children can take over a story, but the twins just added to the story - not too precocious, not too bratty, just perfect.

Loved the story - now I have to go find the others!

This book was awesome. The twins are so darn cute. And Conway trying to resist them (and their mom) was awesome. I loved the interaction Conway had with his family too. So many funny moments in the book (Conway ducking a punch, cheerios, the old lady babysitter). Just an fun, happy read. I really enjoyed it.

Loved this book. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down. The dynamic between Conway and Isa is great. And the twins just melted my heart. This is a great read!!
Cover: 3/5 on the cheese-o-meter. The cover is probably really only a 2, but the title bumped it up in cheesiness.

Story: 3/5 (actual story); 2/5 on the cheese-o-meter (sadly lacking the cheese I was hoping for)

I have to say, the twins in this book stole the show for me. The romance between Conway and Isi was predictable as I knew it would be. However, the twin 4 year old boys were so cute that it was a more enjoyable story. Seriously though, they talk more like they are 5 or 6 though. My own son

This is the second book in The Cash Brothers Series and don't let the cute little boys on the cover fool you, there is a hot Cash Brother inside!

Conway Twitty Cash does not want to be a father. He is afraid he will turn into the type of disappearing father his was. So to avoid it, Conway avoids women with children. Doesn't matter how great they are, if they have kids they are out!

Until Isi changes things. He always knew she has twins so they are just friends but when they are thrown together mor

Conway Twitty Cash wants to settle down but he doesn't want to be a father. He's taken over the pecan farm and is in charge of this year's plot and doesn't do much rodeoing these days. Accidentally he gets his 'therapist' Isi hurt and he feels obligated to help her out. That means babysitting her 4 year old twin sons while she finishes her last college class and works. He fights it all the way and it gets a little worse after he sets her up with his brother Will. A really good story. I like the ...more

This is book 2 in The Cash Brothers series. Here we meet Conway Twitty Cash and single Mom Isi Lopez and her adorable sons Miguel and Javier. I loved this book. Conway does not realize that he is a good man and father until he learns to love Isi and her sons. The twins steal this book at times and I cried when Conway proposed. I highly recommend this book. It's on my keeper shelf. I would give it 10 stars.
Conaway is my favorite brother that I have read in the series he has a true heart and hopes to bring things to live such as love. But he does not want children that is what I found amazing was that he fell in to the role of a father without almost any thought even though that was the last thing he wanted to do. I find that Isi is an amazing character who is strong and very loving. 3/5 stars
