Yet again, this was an intriguing plot.
It starts off as Alicia, and her boyfriend Nick embarking on a vacation to the ranch. True to its title, they have an antique discovery to make

The plot, this time around was fairly predictable, partly because we knew Ali would definitely get embroiled in any distasteful event occurring, and partly because I found the ending the most obvious one. However, the author kept it gripping enough for us to surmise which of the alternative endings it is going to b

Alicia Trent is back! The story starts with Nick and Barry planning out a vacation for Nick and Alicia. Seeing this as an opportunity to spend some quality time with Nick, Alicia agrees. It is only after planning the whole thing out that Alicia realizes that the date of clock’s prediction would fall within their prediction. But as we know, the clocks prediction always comes true, and this time was no different. While experiencing the desert feel on a ranch turned holiday resort owned by Nick, Al ...more

Nick and Ali take a wonderful vacation on his dude ranch thinking it will be a great time to get away from it all and relax, but as usual, trouble seems to follow Ali wherever she goes.

Ali’s last prediction from the magic clock told her that she would find the guns on the third of September which is during her vacation, so this time she takes the magic bottle with her just in case it might be helpful. As before, the clock is bang on, and she does find the guns, but what it means she doesn’t know

First you do not need to read the first two in the series to read this. Will they help? yes. Is it necessary? No. All the characters from the first two books are back and a few new ones are added as Ali and Nick finally go away together. Squeeee....They go to his dude ranch for what was supposed to be a quiet vacation..Doesn't go the way of that tide though.

While there a murder of a guest takes place, daughter's of a guest play pranks, they make an amazing discovery that puts them in danger, Nic

Another great Alicia Trent story! This time she's on a vacation with Nick, at his resort/dude ranch. Unfortunately, her "special" clock has predicted an event will take place during the same time period as their vacation---and, as usual, the clock is right. A murder takes place, and Alicia is determined to solve it.

This installment of the series was just as enthralling as the first two, Antique Magic and Antique Forgery. The author has a way of drawing you into the story and keeping you connecte

This was a fabulous third book in the Ali mysteries. I enjoy the small elements of magic, and cannot wait to learn more about the newest one, but love that it also maintains the element of reality. In this story Ali and Nick go on vacation, but as always mystery seems to follow Ali and a murder is committed. However this story is about more than mystery and murder, it is about friendship and family. The only thing I didn’t like was the complication in one of Ali’s relationships. I hope that doe ...more
