Cherie Reich takes us back to her magnificent fantasy world of Foxwick for five more grand tales. Each protagonist is wonderfully different, coming from various walks of life: a poor blind teenager, a woodsman turned spy, a skilled sword master, an enamored king, and a young hunter. Men of Foxwick is a suck-you-in collection of stories that approaches the same fantasy world through many viewpoints. I love that you could potentially start reading these stories in any order. The author doesn't try to cram all of these perspectives into the same story. Instead she uses short stories and unique perspectives to highlight turning points in her fantasy kingdom, complete with all manner of fairytale beasts and monarchs true and tried.

I had the privilege of viewing these short stories in their draft mode. If you enjoyed the Women of Foxwick, you are sure to enjoy the men. From Blind Scribe to Monster Hunter, each man takes you on a journey you will both enjoy and remember. Cherie has a way of bringing her creations to life. You will love the wonderful details of the magical land of Foxwick.
