This book had a ton of potential. The actual writing is good, from a technical perspective, and the flow is pretty steady without many bumps. What failed for me are the story arcs and some pretty hefty character flaws, which I will break down.

The synopsis for this book is pretty spot on, so I won't waste any time recapping and instead get right to the meat of the story. Paige is the protag for this book and when we meet her she's just graduated from high school and, against her

Okay so this review is going to be harsh so I have to say that first and foremost. I do not want to upset anyone but I had a few problems with this story and I want to make it clear that I LOVED this story but there is a lot wrong with this story.

Paige is your typical 18 year old senior who has just graduated from high school and is planning on spending her summer living it up before she starts college in the fall. But her parents have a different idea in mind. See her parents want some quality

It's been almost 2 months since I've read Inspire and at this point, I'm not quite sure about my feelings for it. So for this review, I'm going to highlight what the positives were for me versus what the negatives were.

1. The main character
Paige wasn't one of those main characters who acted like she didn't know she was beautiful, but everyone else around her thinks she's an angel sent from heaven. No, she knew exactly how gorgeous she was and

“Paige, you have inspired me to love fully and every day you inspire me to be a better man, and you will always own my heart.

I'm really having trouble gathering my thoughts together to say what I want to say about this book. I had a real love/frustration going on with these characters throughout the whole book. One minute I liked them, then I was confused by something they did, then I couldn't understand them, then I was frustrated with them and questioning whether I liked them, only to find

“What’s the frown for? You heard your mom; YOU are going to have a fabulous time. Playing on the playground and listening to ghost stories around the campfire, hanging out with all of the other ‘camp kids’!” she teased.

Paige's summer after high school graduation is so not what she wanted it to be. Instead of spending her summer with her friends, she has to go CAMPING with her PARENTS. I know it's kind of my worst nightmare... An

Inspire was a sweet, romantic story of young love and a summer romance to last a lifetime. It was a quick, easy read and the plot flowed really well. The characters were likable and I quite enjoyed reading it.

Paige is on her way to college in the fall so her parents decide to drag her to the mountains of Vermont for a summer RV trip. She is less than thrilled to spend her summer away from her friends and in the middle of nowhere. However, her first day there she meets T

I thought Inspire by Heather Buchine had some potential in the beginning and I was looking forward to where the story was going to take me. However, I was massively disappointed by this one. It was an ok read, but I had so many issues with it that couldn’t be ignored.

Let's start with Paige. She wasn’t really all that special, to be honest. I thought she lacked some personality and backbone. She did have some appealing things about her, like how she wasn’t just a rich spoiled girl, built up her

Confession time. I have a soft spot for teen 80s and 90s movies. And I may know most of them word for word. No one did teen angst like John Hughes. So why am I bringing that up here? Because I felt like I was reading one of those movies when I read this book – and I loved every single bit of it!

I have been reading some pretty serious and heart-wrenching books lately – ones that took a lot out of me emotionally, which isn’t a bad thing, but it’s been exhausting! So when I started this book, it wa

Paige, oh Paige. Girlfriend, I have some advice for you. Don't let any guy--no matter how hot or how inked he is--let him treat you the way Travis did. You are a rich girl from the Hamptons and don't need a relationship with a guy who is nice to you when you're alone but when he's with his friends, acts cold. Unless his name is Jekyll or Hyde, keep those eyes open.

Okay, got that out. Inspire is a new New Adult title by Heather Buchine featuring the typical NA couple of hot girl and hot guy. Pai

I loved the message that inspire sent. The characters were, for the most part, really good people and they were trying to make a difference. The plot of Inspire was also interesting. It fits perfectly within the New Adult age group. All of the characters were ready to start college and they had one last summer of fun. So they were a bit on the younger end of the New Adult books, but they all seemed pretty mature.

Paige is the main character and she is such a sweetheart. Honestly, she seems like

4 stars- Sweet, cute & all inspiring fun read! This brought me back to a simply time of summer camping, your first love and girlie drama. It's a perfect summer read.

"There are two exits in the front, two exits in the middle of the main cabin and one in the rear of the plane. In the event of an emergency...." I stopped my hand gestures and my soft melodic voice. "Or in the event that your parents decide to hold you captive for the summer, push everyone out of your way and run like hell to the ne

This book started really strong, I loved it and I wanted to read more of these characters. But then it went downhill for me. The middle was rather boring and I found myself skipping a few things. I just wanted the story to move forward.

I liked Paige and Travis, in general. But at the end of the day, they had a lot of flaws that I just couldn’t overlook. Paige came out as a doormat and for a girl that was heading to Columbia, she could be pretty dumb. Also, she has pretty much no self-respect. I

I really loved the idea of a rich chick roughing it for a summer in an RV. I loved the idea of said chick discovering romance at a campground even more.

In Inspire, Paige is forced to travel from her mansion in East Hampton, NY to a campground in Vermont for the summer before she starts college. She's not exactly thrilled with the idea, but appreciates that this time together could be good for her and her parents. Once there, she meets Travis - and his awful, nasty friends. The writing was good enough for a first book and that is the only reason I am giving this book 2 stars, because when it comes to the story and it's characters itself the book is seriously lacking.

The blurb is spot on. This is the story of Paige and Travis, 2 teenagers who are spending the summer with their parents before moving to the university. Since the beginning they have some chemistry and decide to pursue their relationship, but Travis asks Paige to maintain the relationship a secret. Thr

The story takes us along with 18 year old Paige on her summer long vacation to Vermont. Paige is a lovely character with a big heart. She is very easy to like and I quickly found myself agreeing with her best friend Tracey that her long time crush Jared was a complete idiot for not asking her out.

Her parents are trying to re-kindle their marriage and although camping in an RV is a first for this wealthy family, Paige puts a smile on her face and is ready to make the best of it enjoying activitie

Really I consider to this history a history zigzag, it is like like one rises and goes down.
For moments it kept me entertaining, and for others he bored me very much, doing that skips some parts.
I believe that great part of the failure an hour to be kept kept woman is the "Childish" that exists for moments.
The personality of the prominent figures is not bad, though Travis, on having known it, is almost perfect, anything that is not very near to the reality of the daily life. Bony, it seems to

I really enjoyed reading “Inspire”.It’s a perfect read for summer. With its pros and cons, “Inspire” is a great book with a lot of potentional.

Let’s start with the pros.

Omg I loved the fact that Paige has no drama in her life. She has a happy life, her parents are happy, they get along really well and there is no depression. The same thing applies for Travis. No broken hearts. No hunting past. No demons. In fact, my

If I had to find one word to describe this book I think I would go with sweet. Now that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have some very unsweet moments in it, because it sure as heck does, but the all-encompassing um, “ness” (wow, I am definitely a reader and not a writer!) that I would go with would be sweet.

The characters, for the most part, are sweet characters. Perhaps not at first and some have secrets that make them less than sweet for a bit of time but they really are mostly dripping with sweetnes

I was looking forward to reading this book. A guy with tattoos...what's not to love. I'm sorry to say that even though I finished the book I just couldn't really get into it. I couldn't connect with the characters at all. I hate giving a negative review, I really do considering the time and effort that an author puts into a book. So here is me trying to be positive.

The book has a lot of potential. I think the writing overall was good. The plot was easy to follow and I understood the emotions of

Paige finds herself having to spend her last summer before college camping in an RV with her parents. She has to leave her friends back home, but luckily they'll all be reconvening in the fall when they attend college in New York. Paige doesn't seem too upset about the plans (not as upset as I would have been at that age), and things start looking up even more when she meets the gorgeous Travis, who is the campground owners' son.

Things are a little shaky in the beginning since the group of teena
When I first saw the cover, I was like, 'wow this looks good.' It's a shame that I forgot that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. Then I began to read this. Chapter 1-7 is actually okay. But the rest is somewhat of a waste. I can't even categorize this. The transition between being a YA to Erotic is so abrupt it makes me feel nauseated. I like Paige because she has a great personality. But I think Travis is the lamest character. EVER. His excuses are so lame, his moves are so lame, his ex ...more

This book is like the global economics crisis people went through in 2009. Before that it was good, awesome really, but after the crisis, you could feel the downfall of economy. People lost their jobs and shit happened.

I thought this was a great story with really likable characters that were easy to route for. I was quickly pulled in to the story and enjoyed the setting of the camp in the woods - an ideal spot for young people to fall in love. It was a quick and easy read that left me satisfied with the type of ending I like - a happy one where all the pieces came together and the problems were solved. Although the characters are young, I'm 34 and could still relate to them. I recommend this to any adult reade ...more

This is an excellent, gripping book which immediately engrosses the reader in the lives of its characters. It is particularly suited to young adults and mature teens, although I am in my 50's and enjoyed reading it cover to cover. The author displays a natural talent for both plot and character development, which is particularly noteworthy in a first novel. Ms. Buchine left me eager to read more of her writing, and I look forward with enthusiasm to her next book. ...more

This was your typical teenage love story. Boy meets girl, boy falls for girl and girl falls for boy. Girls breaks up with boy over boy telling lies Girl gets back with boy after forgiving him and lives happy ever after. There is more to the story but that is about the most part. Loved Travis and Paige's story and I hope to see more of them in Britney's story. ...more

The story was good, with the development of plot and the words used were thoroughly thought of. I also like the fact that there were less complexity on the characters (on psychological and past experience department, which would mostly pan out the climax) which i find refreshing. Most of YA wont definitely go to such brave kind of writing! I think!

It took me a couple of chapters to really get going but once I got to know the characters I was hooked. Inspire is a great romance story with twists and turns that surprised me - and I like that! I will be looking forward to the next book and whatever drama the epilogue teaser was hinting at. I finished the book last night and I miss the characters already!
