Nicole has made some huge changes in her life: she broke off her engagement to her longtime friend and fiancé, she packed up and moved to the small town of Serendipity leaving her life and parents behind (gladly) and she’s trying to figure out what to do with information she overhead about her father’s business. His business partner (her ex-finance’s father) has been putting dirty money into their company and business ventures and

When Phillips announced that the Serendipity series was coming to an end, I was pretty heartbroken. I adore this series, and I was hoping we would get to see so many others in Serendipity find their happily ever afters.

Sam hasn’t really been interested in anyone since Nicole left town, but watching his brother and sister settle down has left him feeling a bit lonely. Opening up to relationships isn’t easy, but Sam is willing to try, especially

As usual my backward self read this before the other two. I actually have the first one in the series but grabbed this first. It wasn't hard to figure everything out about previous characters. I enjoyed all of them with the exception of Mommie Dearest! Quite a few laughs, lil bit of suspense, romance and some pretty steamy sex. Welcome to Serendipity readers!

Another exciting tale in Ms. Phillips' Serendipity's Finest series, which I rated 4.5! Taken from my review at RomanceJunkies.com:

Nicole Farnsworth was born in wealth to uncaring and unloving parents. She has always watched over her twin, Victoria, who is suffering from a mental illness and is now institutionalized for treatment. She had managed to prevent her sister from doing any real damage in the small town of Serendipity and had fallen in love with the town and the people, espec

The final Marsden sibling finds love in the deliciously entertaining Perfect Together . Carly Phillips hits all the right notes in this fast-paced, engaging romance.

Nicole is a woman I liked and admired from the start. By moving to Serendipity, she’s stepping out of her comfort zone and breaking the bonds of her parents’ expectations in order to make a life for herself. Nicole has a warm and friendly personality, and when you add in her hidd

The town of Serendipity is always one of my favorite to read!  I was always a fan of Sam, but when we got the hint of who his heroine would be in the last book I wasn't sure how I was going to like it.  Being that she is the sister of the girl that causes so much havoc in the previous book and in Cole's life.  I have to say Carly Phillips pulled this one off perfectly!

Sam has commitment issues after his ex fiance left him standing at the altar and ran off with his best friend.  He can't trust easily and is

I really enjoyed this book and this series. Because I have read all the previous books it was great to see the characters from them and their progression. I loved the honesty and integrity of this couple. They were heartwarming and sexy together. This is a great, easy read. I am not one to read a book from a series as a stand alone and I wouldn't do that here. It would take away some of the enjoyment not having that knowledge of some of the characters and this world. The next book looks set up; ...more

I totally loved this book. I can even see some of my own family members in the cast of the story. Carly Phillips truly knows how to create what I believe are real live stories.

“Hi yourself.” Her smile, as usual, was infectious.
“I’m good. Busy as usual. You?”
He shrugged. “Same old.”
She shook her head, her long dark hair falling over one shoulder, and sighed. “You so need to get laid.”

Author Carly Phillips once again delivers with her latest book in the Serendipity's Finest series, Perfect Together. Perfect Together is the final book in the series, set in a the small town of Serendipity, New York. It focuses on the last sibling in the Marsden family, Sam. Phillips consistently gives readers stories that make them smile, with characters who are real and engaging. Readers are treated to a bit of mystery and suspense to go with their romance in this one. This is the last in the Serendipty Finest series of books that Carly has written. While on her site, it looks like there will be a book for Tess Barron, I honestly haven't searched to find out if she's still writing that book. I have fallen in love with this town so much that Carly gave me a serious book hangover after each one. This last, no exception, was the hardest though.

While you don't have to read the Serendipity Series before you've read this series, I guarantee you'll fall in love with

Perfect Together by Carly Phillips is a wonderful romance that takes place in a small town called Serendipity. This is not the first book in this series, but it can very well be read as standalone. We meet our hero, detective Sam Marsden. While Sam’s family all around him are happy, being engaged or married, Sam doesn’t want any commitments. He however can’t seem to forget a girl he met during a case a few months before. Nicole Farnsworth has just broken up with her fiancée, since she knows that ...more

I loved this book so much. Unfortunately I read the last book first so I am going to go back and read it again after reading books 1 and 2 first. I love Carly Phillips books and I especially love trilogy or series books. Where you get a look at the lives of people you fell in love with in their own book. You get to see where there lives have gone and that they are living their happily ever after. This book was wonderful and the characters were wonderful but flawed. Both Nicole had lived a hard l ...more

A suspense romance with not enough suspense to keep the plot moving forward at much of a pace. Still, I liked the characters and the way their relationships developed.

Sam Marsden, the youngest of the Marsden siblings, is the last to fall in love. Abandoned at the altar years earlier, he is not one to trust easily, but Nicole Farnsworth has snuck into his heart without him being aware. They had met when he arrested her thinking she was her twin sister Victoria who was stalking his sister Erin. He recognized right away that she was nothing like her mentally ill sister. After a sizzling kiss with Sam, Erin realized that there was something missing in her relatio ...more

Two families, one in Manhattan and one in Serendipity, couldn't be further apart in how they were raised. However both of the families have offspring that have issues around love and relationships. What will happen when one from each of these families come together and try to build a relationship?

That is the question that is foremost on the main characters mind. Both Sam Marsden, a detective in the police force in Serendipity who comes from a loving family and Nicole Farnworth of Man

Good read

I enjoyed the romance and the drama. Loved the hero and heroine and everyone in the town. However, I gave the book 4 stars because there was just too much sex. I just skimmed over the last sex scene. I do like sex in my books but it felt like the last scene (or maybe 2) was added to add pages to the book.

But I enjoyed the plot and writing well enough to look for more books by this author. If they have too much sex, I'll just skim again.

Well written romance with touch of Mystery. Very good

Glad I found this book written by Carly Phillips. Detective Sam sure knows how to pick the right twin. Nicole came to town looking for her sister who is mentally ill and they met. Seems Sam made a lasting impression on Nicole to the point that she ends her engagement. Oh yes and there's another matter too that causes issues in Serendipity. Well written and lots of fun to read.

Not My Favorite

I really wanted to love this book, but unfortunately it fell short in keeping my interest. The storyline had potential and I think this author had a good idea about the romance she wanted to present, but the romance between the two main characters was just so so and not to good.

Another fun series by Carly Phillips. Am enjoying her books between the other genres I enjoy. Fast read. Humor, romance, family fun drama at times, suspense, action packed,

Must read in order. The characters continue in the following series' as they are in Serendipity and surrounding area. :-)

AH FINALLY THE LAST BOOK FOR THE LAST BROTHER I have to admit that I miss the typical romance of an adult novel that you can certainly be sure it will have a happy ending HEHE

Sam is so hot I'm dying and like I love Serendipity this town has so much gorgeous man around. Sizzling romance ugh I miss adult books so damn much.

Carly Phillips always writes excellent escape from reality stories. I love to read her, don't want to put them down, and I never want the story to end! I know non-romantics would scoff at the story-line, but I still enjoy a well written love story. Thank you Carly for another enjoyable book!

I enjoyed this book. It was a good solid story, and even though it was part of a series, the author told the reader enough about the characters from previous books that you were not lost. My one complaint was that the sex scenes did not need to be so explicit.
