Once again, Annie Nicholas has won me over with her perfect balance of action, humor and steam in Prima. I couldn't put the book down during the action parts, I found myself actually laughing at loud at some of the dialogue, and I had to fan myself a few times while reading the love scenes. Annie is also one of the few authors who could make folklore's arguably most repulsive character, the Nosferatu vampire, hot! I truly enjoyed reading this book, and I look forward to reading more by Annie!

4 STARS for Annie Nicholas's well written book of love within a mix of Shifters of different levels, humans and Vampires that are almost different races they are so ancient with powers the younger vamps don't know. Love in all of its depth into the one who loves is shown how deeply heartbreaking it can be, how it can affect the choices made personal or business lives thereby affecting others that could come into contact

Prima (Vanguards, #6) by Annie Nicholas
An Adult Paranormal Suspense Romance with a touch of Humor
It is very well written and kept me so involved I could not put it down. I wanted to make it last, since I knew it was the last in this series. Alas, I admit to staying up late reading it. It really leaves you guessing to the end how it's all going to wrap up. It also introduces us to Pallas of the Vanguard Elite spin off. I guess I will have to satisfy my craving by continuing with that series. I

Why is Sugar such an ungrateful pain in the ass!

This books only saving grace was Pallas! I love that vampire, he truly is devious but so fucking straightforward, one can't help but love his crass attitude and behavior!

Make love not war.....that's the motto of Prima, the sixth book in her Vanguard series, by Annie Nicholas as readers are rewarded with a slew of steamy sexual interludes. Following the bloody ambush in the previous Vanguard book, Sugar has been left with numerous scars and the left side of her body paralyzed. The depiction of her disability is realistic and her feelings of sorrow with a body that has betrayed her are easy to relate to and I found it easy to immerse myself in her life as it is ...more

I don’t really give a rat-fuck that there are some who think I ‘owe’ an explanation for my opinion. Nope, nada, and not sorry about it.

Sometimes I may add notes to explain what my opinions are based on, and sometimes I don’t. I do this for me, on my books, in my library and I don’t ‘owe’ any special

I loved this! 4.5 stars... best in the series so far!

Its great to get back to Daedalus and Sugar and their continued relationship.

Instalment #6 was definitely Sugar's journey and I loved her 100% more this time around. I found her really engaging and sincere and believable.

Pallas... WELL... let's hope we see more if him. Hilarious and endearing #7 maybe??

This book is easily my fave in this series so far, it struck the perfect balance of being emotional and deep, light hearted and laugh out loud

Even though this book is named prima meaning Sugar (vampire mate of the prime). Its mostly about Daedalus past and him being in power of his nest. I'm glad to find out Sugar pulled her big girl panties on and committed to Daedalus. Found this funnier then other in series but that could be because of Pallas. I would like more in series but thgeirs not this book def covered the HEA I wanted. THIS SERIES IS BEST READ FROM THE START, IF U DONT U'LL REALLY BE MISSING OUT.
