Its hard to find picture books with curly girls like my daughters. Looking at the cover of this book, I thought the story would be about a curly girl loving her curly hair, but no, this book is a HARD PASS. One page in the book depicts the girl with straight hair and the words say why dont the knots in my hair seem to go? Each bedtime we brush it, its smooth and long. Where was this book when my daughter was younger. It is such a sweet story all about tangled hair. But the sweet little fairy always has a reason. Pictures are cute and the story is one that children will enjoy.
