Jaaa... das war nicht der beste Band. Irgendwie packen mich die Vinea-Bände sowieso immer nicht so wirklich und der hier hat für mich von der Handlung her einfach durchschnittlich.
Dazu kommt, dass Khany Vic plötzlich gesiezt hat? Vielleicht war das ein Übersetzungsproblem, aber nach zig gemeinsamen Abenteuern war das einfach komisch. Außerdem verstehe ich nicht, warum in einer Comicreihe, die von starken Frauen lebt, Yoko Mieke plötzlich wie so ein naives Dummchen behandeln muss. Not very feminist of you, Yoko.

Für mich lediglich ein okayes Buch.

Re-read 2017

Couldn't remember this one at all! Not bad. We're in space with Khany (always good), something weird happens (doesn't it always!) and Yoko can't help herself checking it out, of course. The general plot was fine but it got a little too convoluted, which is a pity. Art as always is spot on. I read that this was the first album that had colouring done by computer :0)

I aaaaalmost like this story.

It took me a long time, but I finally realized with this volume that the Yoko Tsuno books do not necessarily follow a strict timeline and that even though we returned to earth in the previous volume, this one continues on from the previous Vinean tale.

As usual, I think the depiction of Vinean space craft and technology is top notch. And by setting the story in space, I think Leloup guards against the story aging, unlike the Earth-bound tales which are very much of their time, an imaginary five minutes into the future of when they were originally written.

Buuuut, I just couldn't understand the soul transfer that was taking place in this story. It wasn't about memories alone, and it wasn't necessarily a soul in the Christian sense, so I had trouble understanding exactly what they were transferring between characters and why they cared about getting their own back and why it carried memories with it.

C'est marrant que dans une aventure ultra technologique à deux millions d'années lumières de la Terre on retrouve toujours des blagues sur les femmes et les voitures (et les accidents qu'elles causent). Bref on a ça au début (dit à une fille qui débarque du Bruges de la Renaissance et qu'on a rapidement mis en contact avec l'espace et les alien bleus parce que c'est très raisonnable de faire ça bien entendu) et puis le reste du tome c'est 90 des femmes badass (qui conduisent bien. surtout Yoko). Les Âmes ? quelles âmes exactement j'ai rien compris à ce truc.

For sure, not the best Yoko book, i am pretty sure that all the soul swapping does not actually add up, but well... it was still nice and reminded me of my youth.
