This was my first read by Lisa Renee Jones and, yay, it was excellent. How come I've never heard of her before? Why am I "complaining"? Do I really need to add more authors and books to my TBR? Hmmm, I guess I do! :)

Amanda Wright is finally living her dream. She's the new sports reporter for the Los Angeles Tribune, with her own semiweekly feature column in the sports section. On game days - and we're talking about the Major League Baseball and the Los Angeles Rays here - she gets space in the p
Hard and Fast was a standalone by Lisa Renee Jones. It was my first book by Jones.

Amanda Wright was a beautiful sports column reporter in Los Angeles. She was recently divorced and looking to make her way in a competitive man’s industry. She knew she needed to keep her reputation clean and earn the trust of her local team.

Brad Rogers was a gorgeous, confident and well loved MLB veteran star pitcher. He had a little bad publicity as well as a recent injury and was working his way past both while

My first ever M&B novel was a hit! Very sexy with a build up of both story and erotica in one. 16 year old me was hooked for years within the M&B franchise.

I have read better sports romance books but this was ok. Predictable and low on the angst.

This is my first read by Lisa Renee Jones. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that I liked the story, it's been 10 yrs since reading a Harlequin Blaze book. Though it was a short and quick read, the characters were well rounded.

I have to admit at first it felt kind of awkward reading as the main characters are Amanda and Brad, which my daughters name is Amanda and her father is named Brad. Then further into the story Brad's team mates are Kurt & Casey which is my son & his girlfr

Hard and Fast by Lisa Renee Jones

4 stars
Lisa Renee Jones creates a sweltering romance, which fittingly adheres to Harlequin's Blaze Line collection. Amanda Wright lands this exciting new job as a sports reporter for a Los Angeles paper. Being aware of how this job could be a breaking point in her anecdote for success. Unexpectedly she comes face to face with a challenge. Brad Rogers is that challenge. Amanda struggles to reconfirm her duties of sticking straight to the core of the business. Ho

For some reason I had a hard time putting this one down. I was so deeply involved with this book I started reading it at 5 AM (insomniac) and I couldn't be buggered with getting out of bed until it was past 9 AM, then I moved on to not turning on the computer or the TV, I just kept on reading. With how captivated I was with this book, I have to put it on my favorites shelf. How can I not?

The book has a spunky lady journalist who has no trouble keeping up with the guys, she has her standard dose

This was a terrible book. The plot was flimsy, the characters shallow and unrealistic, and the writing repetitive and facile.

That being said, it was a mindless way to pass the time while I was stuck in a 15 hour traffic jam in Indonesia, which is the only reason it is getting 2 stars instead of 1.

I REALLY love this book. It's one of those that I reread. (Yes, Allia, there are naked people on the cover, but I'm running out of books where there aren't any naked people!)

A romance, but with enough reality and lack of cookie cutter predictability that it was very enjoyable. Not world altering but nice.
