Book Two in the Blood Vine series:

KOS MARAS’s orderly life is in shambles—he must distribute Blood Vine to a population of ailing vampires, but Hunters block him at every turn. To make matters worse, each night he watches over a temptingly beautiful woman sleeping in his bed. He is convinced love cannot last a vampire-long lifetime and an entanglement will only cause them

Blood Entangled is the second book in Amber Belldene’s Blood Vine Series. After falling in love with this series while reading the first book, I was so excited to get my hands on Blood Entangled….and Amber rocked the vampire world once again with this story!

Still reeling and embarrassed from Andre’s rejection, Lena Isaakson is talking solace in the comfort given to her from Andre’s son, Kos. Staying in Ko

"Blood Entangled" leaves this gay reader queerying his choices. I picked up this second in Belldene's trilogy panting to see what's becoming of Lucas and Pedro. How I want to be present when they truly consummate their romance, when they release their fierce tensions with one another! Yet, no sooner had I opened "Entangled" than I was snared by Kos and Lena's polite restraint. Damn. Nothing like nursing one's appetite by saying 'no' to the initial pulses of desire. It would seem that, no matter ...more

Another great book by Amber Belldene. The science advances, the drama kicks up a notch, another love story blooms, secrets are revealed and we learn more about the ancient vampire hierarchy. This book did have a little bit of everything. Enough to whet your appetite and leave you wanting more.

I hope a third book is in the works because I'm not ready to let these characters go yet.

I was given a copy by Omnific Publishing because I really enjoyed the first one. I was not let down with the second.

Really a 4.5 but I love the series so 5 it is!

I love, love, love this series! If you thought Andre was hot as a broody, driven, winemaking vampire, wait til you meet Jealous Andre. *swoons, then giggles* In this book we hear more from Kos, Andre's son, and follow Lena's tragic story. Lena is gorgeous and smart and a huge asset to the Maras household, but feels worthless and unwanted due to Andre's rejection. Kos helps Lena to find a new household, despite the fact that his feelings for her grow stronger. (stupid, self-loathing vampires. hon ...more

I was prepared to like this second in the series less, mostly because I did not really like Lena in the first book, and knew she would play a central role in this one. But what a pleasant surprise that Ms. Belldene managed to win me over and delight me yet again with another fun read.

Amber you have totally hit the mark with this sequel to the series. I mean I loved Andre and Zoey but when I realized this would be Kos's story I just about died. I couldn't get enough of him to save my life. He is so full of love and compassion but his mother's death has left him haunted and he swears off love even though it will be different for him he still swears love off. He rather have a closed off heart than a broken one. Plus we get to see more of Lena. I have to say that at first I didn ...more

YAY!! It's finally out!!!

4.5 Glorious shining stars!!! LOVED IT. LOVED IT. I'm so looking forward to the next book in this amazing series. The first book left me smiling for days and salivating over the prospect of a future book. And let me just say again, what a fantastic followup book it is. I loved Kos and Lena's story. Loved that we got more of all of the Mara family. This story has such a wonderful bunch of characters and oh my goodness how I love them all. This book was full on nonstop awe

Blood Entangled by Amber Belldene

The author succeeded in making the second of this series as enticing and exciting as the first (can't wait for the third!!). The characters are so well developed that you feel like you know them. Kos and Lena are so exciting and their love is so pure...and Andre and Zoey continue to grow in this book. She has kept the suspense in the book--will they/won't they both in the characters and with the Hunters! This is a fun exciting read that you will not want to put d

I loved this second book in Amber Belldene's Blood Vine series. Fast moving plot, erotic scenes, perfect love story - this book has it all. I can't wait for the third installment.

Warning: This book contains male/male – female/female/male explicit sex scenes and BDSM. It’s very descriptive and graphic; this book is not suitable for younger readers, mature readers only. So my younger YA group of followers please be warned this book is not for you. I usually do not read erotica books, and I didn’t know that this was. I really think books with the above type scenes need to state that,

After finishing the first book, I could only wait a few days before a gave in and bought the second book because the story was so stuck in my head, I was thinking about it a lot. I was so glad to be able to start the second book and be thrown back into this seductive world created by Amber Belldene.

Kos doesn't believe love can last a lifetime for vampires because of what happened to his mother and Andre. But when he and Lena get closer and closer he finds it hard to send her away to another hous

Once again Amber has pulled me into this world with the characters I love and a non-stop story. I had a hard time putting this book down and read the first two books of this series in three days. Don't let the book blurb fool you, however. It's focus is on Kos and Lena, but once again we get to see all our favorite (or infamous) characters once again, along with some newbies thrown in, who have me quite intrigued with what will be happening in the future. But really, and this is not a complaint, ...more
After reading the first book, Blood Vine, I committed myself to seeing this thing through to the end. I didn't love Blood Entangled, but I didn't hate it either.

Kos swore he'd never love anyone and absolutely refused to consider a bond. Lena knew she wanted someone to love her but didn't know if household or human life was best for her.

High Stakes & True Love

The second book in Amber Belldene's Blood Vine Series, Blood Entangled picks up where the first book, Blood Vine, left off. To save their dying race, vampire vintner Andre and his family continue their work to create and distribute the cure--their special wine. Meanwhile, their enemy, the fanatical and racist Hunters attempt to thwart them at every turn, using despicable, deadly methods. And through it all…love happens.

I would really say a 4.5, but I'm going to round up. It's only fair because I could not put this book down.

My crazy self accidentally read this book first. I don't know how I made that mistake, but I did. I kept thinking to myself, "Self, it seems as though you are missing something important." And my self was. Oops.

Here's the deal: Belldene has taken vampires and made them her own. These guys speak a Croatian dialect, and one of my favorite parts of the book was learning some VERY interesting p

Warning: This book contains many scenes of hot, kinky sex of various forms including BDSM, bisexual, etc. May not be apropriate for certain age groups.

That being said I did not like this book as much as the first of the series.

First off I am not a prude. I like a little spice, but I started reading this series because of it's unusual plot/characters (wine being used to save vampires from dying). The first one had hot sex in it, which was not a problem, that was part of the romance. But I was co

This book is a follow on to "Blood Vines" which covers the story of Andre and Zoey. If you have read this one, youll notice that the first 10-20 pages cover the time in the first book where Lena goes to stay at Kos's place after leaving the estate -but from Lena's POV instead of Andre an Zoeys.

Lena has had a rough time. She thinks her destiny is to serve vampires, as it has been in her family for generations. She happily provides blood, but it is widely known that blood and sex go together, but

For book two, Blood Entangled, you definitely want to have read Blood Vine. You don’t HAVE to read the first, but I think it would be very confusing and you’re introduced to most of the characters in book one also. It’s almost seamless from Blood Vine to Blood Entangled but the second is just as good as the first. But Lena and Kos have a completely different set of issues to get through than the first couple. Plus quite a bit from Blood Vine to deal with as we

This is a series review!!!

I got these books from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side.

Firstly I would like to thank the author for giving me this opportunity of reading and reviewing these books.

Well, I'm going to express my thought on the whole series in one review because that will help me to pull up everything that I want to say.

Okay, firstly coming to the plot, I really liked it and also liked the story line. The interesting plo

I loved the first book, Blood Vine. I'll admit my favorite romance (not that Zoey and Andre weren't hot!) was Pedro and Lucas. I couldn't wait to pick up the second book in the series to read more about them and wow! The steamy, rocky romance between Pedro and Lucas exceeded my expectations and blew me away. Lena and Kos were wonderful and sweet and so very steamy! Ms. Belldene creates a rich, beautiful world with captivating characters and weaves a complex and wonderful story that is impossible ...more

3.5 stars. This book was odd for me. I liked it enough to keep reading it and it did keep my interest, but I didn't like how Koj kept rejecting Jane. I'm getting tired of the "I don't do commitment" men in books. This seemed like a different take on vampires, they still couldn't walk in the sun, but it didn't seem like they ever slept.

There was some M/M interaction that I wasn't expecting, the sex isn't too steamy, could have been hotter for me, maybe I would have liked it more.

This is second in the Blood Vine series about a family of vampires trying to save their family and their kind from the hunters who are trying to exterminate them. This one features the romance of one of the sons of the patriarch of the family along with the familys struggle to find a way to save the exiled vampires from a wasting disease caused by being away from their homelands. The more you read, the more real this world seems to be, so I have to say they are well written. ...more

I really enjoy the arc of the storyline for this series, but I wish the heroine here was a little less weepy. She's an interesting character with a fleshed-out background, but she's crying in about 70% of her scenes (or so it seemed to me). This almost lessens the emotional impact when she undergoes more traumatic experiences.

Besides this complaint, the novel was difficult to put down and I'll definitely be finishing the series to see what happens to the crew.
A solid paranormal romance involving the lives of a group of special vamps and their mates. Balanced action and drama with fairly clean scenes of passion. While not the "hottest" vampire read that I've experienced, the story that unfolds is well written and keeps you interested and reading, if only to make sure the hero and heroine actually end up together!

This is one hot and sexy book and I'm really enjoying the series. I had a hard time putting the book down. It includes some m/m and f/f action, so if that's not your "cup of tea," you might want to steer clear. I thought it was great!

Blood Entangled lives up to the fabulous debut of Blood Vine. Each time I read this book, I pick up more detail about the characters and their struggle to survive - and thrive. This series is one I'll read again and again. I can't wait for the next book!
