I would love to give this book more stars because it was very well put together, the illustrations are very lovely, and my children thoroughly enjoyed it. However, there were many, many references to the evolutionary process and the assumption of millions of years. For this reason we will not be adding this book to our library. If any publishers out there who hold to the biblical account of a six day creation are reading this, please consider making something like this for our children!

Beautiful illustrations. Concise tidbits of information. A gateway to understanding the world's diversity of animals.
