Andrew and his cousin Judy are the size of ants. They are traveling through the Australian desert with Andrew’s Uncle Al to find one of Al’s friends who might be able to change them back to normal size. However, a dust storm separates them from Uncle Al, and while crossing the desert to get back to him, Andrew and Judy are attacked by carious creates that live and adapt to the desert to survive. Ants, termites, dingoes, and kangaroos; they all want a piece of Andrew and Jody.

This book is filled with science facts about the animals that Andrew and Judy come across in their travels. Young readers will be interested by the crazy situations of this series of books, as well as the fascinating science facts that are connected with the narrative and written specifically to interest young readers.
