Meh. Geen succes, ik vond Bat Pat alleen al stront en strontvervelend terwijl ik hem in de andere serie veel leuker vond. Maar hier zag hij steeds beren op de weg en zat hij alleen maar te irriteren. Erg jammer. Ook vond ik de papegaai vervelend in hoe die praatte, heel overdreven en niet echt lekker leesbaar soms moest ik zelfs stukjes herlezen. Ik snap dat je wilt laten zien dat iemand buitenlands is, maar is dit eigenlijk nog wel goed te keuren?
Plus, ik vond het hilarisch toevallig dat juist DIE persoon die zo dicht bij ze is ook degene is die ze nodig hebben, iets waar ik al een vermoeden van had, maar toch hoopte ik ergens dat misschien het niet zou gebeuren. Sorry hoor, ik weet dat het een kinderboek is maar kinderen zijn echt niet dom. Dit is gewoon jammer.
Plus, hoe heeft die papegaai die kaarsen, al vliegend, kunnen aansteken? En waarom heeft ze borsten? En waarom was Bat Pat niet nat nadat hij water over zich heen kreeg? En waarom doet Bat Pat een gordijn open terwijl ze volgens de tekst SAMEN binnenvliegen?

Aquest volum ha estat dels que ha agradat més, però com que qui fa la valoració sóc jo el poso com a fluix, ple d’inconsistències entre els altres volums de la sèrie. a la nena li va semblar divertit, això sí. Una història que s’allunya, malgrat del títol, del terror d’altres llibres de la sèrie per oferir-nos una senzilla història d’amor i intriga.
