Creepy ending

I think my 41-year-old self has been traumatized by a classic children’s story.

I love the narration. I even thought that my niblings would enjoy listening to this. But then the ending’s tragic it gave me goosebumps and second thoughts of letting them listen to this.

Or maybe this would make a good listen to kids on the naughty list. That’s just the naughty me talking. Hehe.

This is a GREAT beginning reader because it has a lot of repetition and rhyming names. The slightly grusome ending makes for a fun nontypical read for kids. We really like this one and I'm anxious to try more in this Read-it Readers series.
