Loving Women is a novel about three men and three women who are trying to find themselves as well as someone to share life with. It isn’t easy when their agendas are all over the board and one of them is dead set on getting revenge against the person who caused the accident that disfigured her once-stunning and beautiful face. Everybody finds somebody but not all of them find the answers they expected.
Loving Women by Earl Chessher is a novella that follows a group of very different people whose stories are intertwined and complex. There are times I felt vulnerable in reading it, which is a huge credit to the author. Loving Women’s witty dialogue and intriguing characters, at times, made me wish it was a television series rather than a book – which is not, by any means, a bad thing. Like all good books it leaves you wanting more.
Loving Women is an intricate tale following the lives of very different characters bound to each other in intricate ways. The story is strong and the characters stronger, each with flaws and virtues that made them very real. What I enjoyed most about this book was the questions and ponderings it left me with. What would I do in that situation? What does this say about the human condition? I thoroughly enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who enjoys an entertaining and thought provoking read.
I loved this book. It was quirky and different. It used multiple point of views to express a series of interwined relationships. I found it very moving, well written and one sensed the author had poured his heart and soul into the narrative. Whilst not my usual fare, I can heartily recommend this to anyone. Fantastic.
Loving Women had me hooked on the first page. I found myself entertained all the way through until the end, with the realistic and intense characters, their complicated relationships and amusing dialogue. Loving Women is a must read!
